This is a review of LEGO Ninjago set 71818 Tournament Battle Arena! This set was sent to me by LEGO for review, and officially releases on June 1st, 2024 in most parts of the world, and August 1st 2024 in North America. This set contains 6 minifigures: Tournament Kai, Tournament Sora, Evil Jay, Tox (the Master of Poison), Cinder (the Master of Smoke), and a Wolf Mask Warrior.

This detailed Tournament Battle Arena (71818) set lets boys and girls aged 7+ recreate the dramatic final showdown from season 2 of the NINJAGO® Dragons Rising TV show. The ninja battle playset includes lots of interactive features to provide kids with hours of playtime. Afterward, it makes an eye-catching display model on a shelf or bedside table.
This LEGO® NINJAGO set includes 2 moving platforms so kids can play out exciting battles with a ninja and a villain, a large drum they can push off its stand to roll into the arena, and a staircase that collapses with the pull of a lever, causing any characters on it to slide to the bottom.

I am so excited for this. I find it funny how in dragons rising season 1, jay and Cole are missing and they have microfigures in the largest set of the wave, and now Kai is missing and gets a micro figure in the largest set

This is easily my favorite set of this wave, especially since it has Evil Jay in it. I prefer the dark blue and azure color scheme used by the wolf mask warriors in season 2 part 1 over the red and purple color scheme they use in part 2 so I’m glad Jay uses the color scheme from part 1.

10:04-10:05 Mr. Pale, also known as Paleman, is the Elemental Master of Light, not Invisibility. Invisibility is part of his abilities, but his elemental power is Light. The Tournament Battle Arena set seems like a pretty good Ninjago battle arena set. I like that you can get all the ninja in their new tournament suits and the villains in their new looks by buying this set and the Tournament Temple City set. Also, I love that Evil Jay's weapon is basically a black version of the _Ninjago: Legacy_ Nunchucks of Lightning.

I personally think its a really cool thing that they did this , its much better compared to Something Like crystalised , were bassicly everything had Something exclusive , plus the sets were pretty overprised , but here , with 300 bucks You get all the important figures , plus an amazind temple build , and a small good looking arena

I love to watch your videos Mind, I watch them sometimes when I go to bed( pretty much every day) so I fall asleep quick( dont mean that they are boring I just fall asleep quick. I gotta say I am not the bigest fan of this wave. Part 1 is amazing,but I dont like purple and red combination for villians in this wave and the sets dont seem like a ninjago sets. I really hope they play the evil Jay thing strait in the series and that it either lasts, or has consiquences that last beyond this season, I hope they learned their lesson from the Ice emporer missed oppertunity. When I started the show, I would say Jay was my favoraye just because lightning was my favorate element, but I never liked how he was just the comedy relief, giving him some actual drama with him being a villain and Nya's response to that could be so interesting.

I still prefer Tox's old ponytail but the rest of the figure is amazing. Evil Jay is just stunning. All the new Wolf Mask Warriors are so cool!! I love this whole set, that Statue I definitely get First Spinjitzu Master vibes from.

Everything about this set is just perfect in my opinion. The build looks fantastic and theres minimal technic exposure. The minifigure selection is outstanding, even the "weakest" one is still great. And also how this set was desined. You can get almost every minifigure from the wave by purchasing this set and the Tournament Temple City, and they both be connected. It personally feels like what the Ninja Dojo Temple tried doing back in the Core wave, but to a better extent. And I guess the entire Master Of The Mountain wave, but that's sort of its own thing with the board game gimmick. I cannot wait to get my hands on these two sets. The Source Dragon Of Motion and Cole's Titain Dragon Mech are great sets too, but they're just below the former sets in terms of day 1 purchases.

Fun Fact: If you look in S2E3: Beyond the Phantasm Cave, you can see that Evil Jay's belt is actually the back of his Core belt, just mirrored.

I think Karlof and Griffin both would, they also were the elemental masters that released along side the original Tox/Mr.Pale. Shade and Neuro could also use new designs!, the rest of the EMs already have newer designs ( Legacy ) or are dead ( Ash )

I love this set Cheap affordable location build is great The statue is amazing, its similar to the statue of the FSM by the tomb if the FSM The minifigures are great Evil Jay is incredible! I hope we get a tournament Jay also. The black nunchucks are very cool The new Cinder is also cool Tox is great except for the hair, her ild hair was good. Her hair is as bad as avatar Lloyd
