This is a review of LEGO Ninjago set 71820 Ninja Team Combo Vehicle! This set is a spiritual successor to the Ultra Sonic Raider and the Ultra Stealth Raider from previous Ninjago waves, was sent to me by LEGO for review, and officially releases on June 1st, 2024 in most parts of the world, and August 1st 2024 in North America. This set contains 6 minifigures: Tournament Sora, Tournament Cole, Tournament Lloyd, Tournament Nya, and 2 Wolf Mask Warriors.

Here's everything they could have done to justify the price: - Bulk out the bikes and use larger wheels for them - Make the treads flatter and include a feature where they slide back to make it seem more like a long race car - Connect the flyer using a similar feature to the previous raiders - Build out the back section of the flyer so that it includes a cockpit and larger, adjustable wings - Include more weapons such a cannon on big vehicle, and spring shooters on the bikes - Include the original 4 ninja and name the vehicle ultra shift raider

3:48-4:04 I'm pretty sure "G4" stands for 4th generation of the Ultra Sonic Raider. Honestly, I like the Ninja Team Combo Vehicle set more than the _Ninjago: Legacy_ Ultra Sonic Raider set. Also, the Wolf Mask Warrior with the red Shatterspin armor piece is called the Wolf Mask General in this set.

Very good and honest review! When this set first got leaked I was gonna pick it up because it had half of the ninja team and I don’t really feel like dropping big money for the tournament temple city set. But then I saw the price and my disappointment was immeasurable. It’s also kinda sad that to me, the best build is Sora’s little glider.

I commented this elsewhere, but my main issue with this s set is the fact that Cole is part of it. They should have added Arin and then this vehicle could be displayed beside the ultra sonic raider. One for the four original ninja, one for the four new ones.

I'd love to know how after the Ultra Stealth Raider these remakes seem to be consistently getting worse and worse in terms of build. Also, for $10 more you get Coles Titan Mech, which heavily puts this thing into persepective like omg. At the very least the best part is making me want to grab the Ultra Stealth Raider on Bricklink cause its such a cool build.

We got this set early at work along with the whole wave minis tournament temple city. This set is mid combined or separated. The bikes are the best part but they don’t look like a part of a larger vehicles when they’re attached. Lloyd’s’ vehicle is bad and I hate how the treads overtake the whole look. Sora’s flyer is a joke. The thing was way smaller than I hoped when combined. Ultra stealth raider from 2016 is so much better because when seperate, the vehicles look good, but when combined, they look great. The ninja combo vehicle is a massive letdown

I really hate the price for this set ... It's a shame it has a decent minifig lineup (I really love the wolves, and they seem to be slightly rarer than the first wave ones - especially the one with creepy arms ) This could have been 50 ... given the size of the set. Maybe 60 because it has 4 extra minifigs (as compared to the 50 Euro Space set they released this year) I will have to find a way to get that red armor piece for the wolves ... they really like doing this instead of adding it into other sets as well ...I hope they will have these red armor wolves in the small magazine polybags.

If I may, I would like to look at this set as... a canvas. Because the design by itself is so bland and uninteresting, one could modify it to be interesting. I would love to mod it with the OG 4 Ninja colors and decal stickers if I got the set, or to improve the build quality with the many parts I have accumulated over time. While $90 for a Moc-Canvas is a bit stupid, I can't help but be drawn to the creative possibilities... and the minifigures, Definitely the figures. So, I might actually pick this one up if nothing more than to workshop all over this build and see what I can come up with.
