This album knocked my socks off. Crazy guitars, bizarre-but-cool vocals, killer drumming. Still holds up 30+ years later.

I've been a fan of this band for a long time. As far as Christian metal bands go they are one my absolute favorite.

I’m in my late 30s and a musician since I was 8, I walked into a Christian book store where I would hope to find metal, as my parents wouldn’t let me listen to sabbath and at the time that’s the heaviest band I knew of thanks to mtv. I remember walking over to the cassettes and seeing this, I knew I HAD to be heavy just from the cover and I knew I was allowed to listen to anything from the store. Long story short, this album changed my life as a musician, I remember it hurting my virgin ears but it was amazing, years later I forgot about the cassette and then we were all playing the nu-metal stuff and parents relaxed on the music restriction so I got into korn and Metallica etc. I remember wanting to be current with mainstream music but I kept playing this kinda of metal, eventually I wrote a few songs but couldn’t ever find people to play it with me. Years later I watched a bunch of 18yo kids playing a show and said wow!!! yes!!! That’s the sound!! That band is and was trivium. I finally found band members to play the same sound and wow the crowds we’d get at shows. Called it scene metal at the time but now it’s considered metal core 🤷♂️. Long story short, this band, this band right here started that sound IMO. I found the tape years later and was blown away that this band was so ahead of its time. Today I remembered their name and KZbin community came though :-) listening to this song again since 10-15 years ago, and I’m still blown away. Pioneers these guys are.

This was the first band I really got into, yet I was into hiphop at the time. Then I kinda melted to metal as it was 'more true', MORE gritty for me than Rap. +Keeping their convictions Tourniquets Stop the bleeding caught me off guard, and still does. 🤘So hum on yous beatiful ppl🤘

Under the law set by Almighty God The priests had the power to change your destiny Festering boils Chronic disease For seven days Complete isolation The test for leprosy Find you unclean The test for leprosy Find you unclean Consigned to neglect outside the city gates You tear all your clothes and cover your face One hope you have Your sores will turn white Through ritual atonement Pronounce you clean The test for leprosy Heal the unclean The test for leprosy Heal the unclean Leprosy, leprosy Unclean Leprosy, leprosy Unclean We are all like lepers without Christ's love in us Let Him heal you, let Him Heal you, let Him - Will you?

I remember having heard Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance and then buying this CD. It was super-weird at first hear. I thought I had wasted my money in vain. I was wrong, with time I learned to appreciate this CD for the gem it is.
