Found out one of my best friends died today. I have fond memories of jamming to this song with him 30 years ago. Life is fragile. Cherish the moments. Edit. Like anyone is going to read this. Who knows who tourniquet is in 2021, 3 people?

Funny you should say so! Freshly into my thirties here and my dad actually got me into Tourniquet via their Vanishing Lessons album, when I was 10 or so. I actually didn't discover this album until I was 18 and i have an unusually fond memory of THIS particular song. Me and a friend of mine, back in 2008 (I believe) decided to walk from our town of residence to HIS old one, which was over a dozen miles or so from the neighborhood that we lived. (THere were no drugs other than nicotine involved... we were just bored that night and had no place better to be). We walked all through the night into that morning, until sunup and I specifically remember resting on a street curb after we had made our destination, pulled out my PSP and headphones and listened to this song on full blast. No real reason other than I was delirious and needed someone loud to wake me up and I guess this song just happened to be what I selected that morning. I can't remember exactly what the world looked like that morning but I remember this song hitting me really hard and I ended up finding a serious new appreciation for this album. The friend of mine in question ALSO died about a year ago, so I saw your post tonight and thought I'd share with ya. This was all in the state of Missouri, btw. Lived here all my life. Anyway, keep kickin ass, keep thrashing and keep strong! They say we're here for a reason but you'll have to be tough to see it through! 🤘

A compelling mix of the first Living Sacrifice (and by extension Slayer) and “Rust In Peace” - very cool stuff! Always heard the name Tourniquet but never checked them out.

This sound of Thrash Metal reminds me of Megadeth. Very similar.

I love Megadeth, but this track is just beyond anything I have ever heard.

This is more technical than Megadeth, it's like Coroner and Watchtower, with the power of Destruction. This is Tourniquet.

Megadeath did not jam the vocals together, but I do hear a little Dave Mustain in there......kinda sounds more like Slayer to me, but still very different than the secular bands
