the title of 'Dependency' in danish is 'Gift' which can mean both 'married' and 'poison'.

This is brilliant! Thanks for reminding me of this. Both of those words describe the plot and atmosphere of the novel quite well. I'm about to read "The Faces" (Ansigterne). I'm very excited to read that one.

Thank you for this thoughtful review. I really appreciated watching it. When you said "many readers of this book who enjoy it most, will probably harbor dreams themselves of being a poet someday" - you touched on something true there. I think this book so beautifully reflects that deep urge driving poets (specifically) to write and reveal. I think readers that identify with that urge will find this book deeply rewarding. I myself have found so much truth and identification in it, in fact I would go so far as to say it has changed me (though I don't consider myself a poet, but have written it since my own childhood).
