I swear this girl is amazing, been a fan of her since the very beginning. If I ever make it in 'stardom' the first thing I want to do is fly all the way to Sweden (from Australia) and speak to the beautiful Tove. I almost shed a tear when I first heard "Habits"...And I'm a man!! Ya a straight one too. Love the song. A good role model... not really. The songs message, I think, says get high to forget a lost love. Over here in California girls are growing up way to fast and this song will have a bad influence on them sadly. Tove Lo is a good role model though. Like what does that even mean? "California Girls are growing up way too fast" Like AS if sexuality had to do with that. It's every girls fucking right to be able to be open with their sexuality. Sex is a personal choice and something we all do sooner or later in life. Troy Kincaid if the person listens to the song and takes from it that it's a good idea to be high, then they have not actually understood nor actually listened to the song. That's not really so much the fault of Tove as it is the fault of culture and the lack of discussion. As far as I've seen there's not much of a misunderstanding here in Sweden about what the song is trying to say. It's a cautionary tale, not a drug anthem.
