And so many more of her songs need more notoriety than what they have!!!!! I'm a guy that just loves music ,and I think I have a pretty good ear for quality and authenticity of different types of music and she has a very specialized way of communicating with us the audience thru her true nature..... I think she's awesome and she's just so dang cute too ,and that never hurt me in any way 😘!!!!! You go Girl and never stop being exactly what you are..... I mean don't stop doing music!! But if you are ever passing by here ,then by God you steal more than welcome to stop by anytime lol .. no doubt ,but my silly puppy ,German shepherd may jump up on you and knock ya off your little feet ... anyways I'm just silly ,lonely ,and quite a bit crazy these days im told . But it's been one hell of a ride for 46 years and ya know. I dont really care much for people's opinions about me anymore tell ya the truth . Because opinions are like assholes and EVERYONE for the MOST PART HAS ONE AS FAR AS I AM PRETTY SURE I KNOW ..... Sweet Dreams hunn!!!!! "Seriously"

I think anyone whose had a self-destruction bend should watch this video. She’s saying there’s good and bad. Highs and lows. It’s not a straight line and you’re not doing anything by punishing yourself. She is saying accept yourself. Atleast, that’s what I get from it. There’s so much to it.

@Flyingtart9 жыл бұрын
+vgman94 That's because she isn't american. In USA, violence in movies and glorification of guns seems perfectly ok for kids, but show some boobs or use cursewords and suddenly it's "offensive". Kind of backwards.
@vgman949 жыл бұрын
Flyingtart I halfways agree, but I gave your post a like anyway. I don't think the depiction of gore or violence is bad, if done right. Guns also aren't inherently evil and I doubt they influence kids badly (although I can understand why foreigners might feel that way given our recent shootings) without other serious problems being present. But the fear of sex and cursing in our country is pathetic. I blame Right Wing Republicans in our country for that one. I do wish we were more like Sweden in many ways (That's where Tove Lo is from, right?).
@Flyingtart9 жыл бұрын
vgman94 (sorry for long post) I don't think depiction of gore and violence is bad either. I just find it weird how american channels can air some violent movie and still censor "fuck" all the time, as if cursewords are worse than death. And US media, and whatnot is over dramatizing boobs all the time. Like, a sex scene is less OK for kids than a violent scene for many americans. And it's weird that exposing kids to lethal weapons (even letting them try it on under supervision) is more alright, according to some, than having them hear bad language or see tits on TV. Gay stuff seems extra provocative, like same sex kisses in a music video for example. I lived in USA for a while (though the quite gun restrictive California), and of course anyone from any culture find some things about other cultures peculiar. And that's what I found peculiar about american culture. I find weapons quite cool and all, but it's just sooo glorified in some parts of america. Like that "open carry" bullshit some advocate strongly. The right to own guns is almost exalted to some weird religion to all too many americans. Yeah she is from Sweden. Right wing republicans would probably consider Sweden a crazy communist liberal experiment, lol. It's been that way even since the 50s-70s, when Swedish porn and liberal view of sexuality were exported all over the world.
@vgman949 жыл бұрын
Flyingtart Funny you say. I live in California. I agree with most things you said. I do disagree with some of those people who think 6-year-olds can try out guns. 10 years I think is the minimum appropriate age (I know some may see older as better, and younger as better depending on the person. But that's my opinion on proper age for handling a weapon). And while I am for gun rights, that open carry bullshit is OBNOXIOUS. Goddamn. Keep in your pants, conservatives. Like fucking is so horrible while guns and God is so great. >_> Sweden is great and needs to become more of a standard for the world. I do think their gun laws are _slightly_ too restrictive in some ways, but almost every other policy they have (women's rights, environment, animals, welfare) are pretty good or even great. Nordic countries like theirs are an example for the rest of the world.
@Flyingtart9 жыл бұрын
vgman94 Sweden has a lot of weapons per capita, but they are hunters rifles and you need to be part of a hunting team, and do some tests to get the hunting license. If I remember it correctly, 16 is the minimum age for even practicing shooting with lethal weapons. Shot a few rifles and guns when I lived in USA (became familiar with a family that had plenty of weapons). It was amazing. They had this 19th century model magnum rifle, ala western movies. Great recoil. Used to shoot air rifles and air guns when I was a kid, so my aim wasn't too shabby. So yup, I basically enjoy guns, but I recognize the problems that may appear if they become too available and widespread (legally or illegally in any country). Yeah those open carry assholes are obnoxious. Seen videos by open carry activists on youtube. What a bunch of morons. Myself I think Holland is the coolest country. Even historically, they have been open minded. When religion persecuted people with new ideas in the 17th century, Holland took scientists and new thinkers in as refugees. So their open mindedness goes way back, and they are still in the tip of the spear when it comes to disregarding "moral laws" and instead implement modern practical laws.

this song touches my soul and literally raises the hair on my arms... I've survived and I'm still recovering from what many would consider hell.... this song is exactly what and how I felt for so long. ... so deep and I love this and pretty much all of tove lo's album. her songs speak the raw truth. Deep and healing for me. I love it and hope they never change anything EVER LOL

She reminds me of Lily Rabe from American Horror Story: Asylum, when she's dancing in the church. They share a lot of dance moves. haha

How is she not number one everywhere??!! This song is so me Everything she does I relate to Love how she powers being a women to its fullest!! She makes no excuses U can tell she hurts and feels out the loop when damn that girl is so gorgeous she should t feel this way She’s doing what we all want as women Feeling the truth about how we feel without perversion and respect to all past relationships I’d love to hear her do rock or blues I reckon she’d be brilliant I love her so much I’m straight but I’d marry her

Tove Lo's mother is a psychiatrist or therapist of some kind. They apparently had a bit of a rough relationship when she first went into music. I always think the interviewer represents mom.
