Vedic astronomy has nothing to do with real astronomy. Srimad-Bhagavatam teaches that our universe is half full of water, the Sun is closer to the Earth than the Moon, the eclipses of the Sun and the Moon are caused by the attacks of a demon called Rahu, the Moon is twice as big as the Sun, there is only one Sun in the entire universe ( all the stars in our universe reflect the light that comes from the Sun ), all the stars in our universe circle the Pole Star and the diameter of our universe is only 6.4 billion kilometers ( 4 billion miles ). S-B is human speculation.

S-B is totally wrong. If the eclipses of the Sun and the Moon were caused by the attacks of a demon it would be impossible for astronomers to predict them.
