You talked about avoiding someone in church because you have issue with them is not good and you also talked about ignoring your spiritual father's call & message when he did something contrary to God's word. I don't understand the difference Sir, can you explain? Secondly: I have an issue with my caretaker & our security guy who is a member of our branch, the compound we live is usually sleepry whenever it rains, so I arrange blocks that we can step on when going out after doing that I went in & the next thing I heard was where is this woman come & remove this blocks the a very high tune & I replied why & how does he expect me to go out, he said he will beat me & I asked him we had issues before he couldn't answer but was shouting and almost heat me if not for someone the held him. How do you relate with this person?

1. Not picking the calls of a 'spiritual father' & avoiding someone in church. The difference is that, I told that 'spiritual father' what I was wrong the day I met with him. I didn't pick his calls because I couldn't understand the issue, ans I needed an explanation to help me understand or point out what I think was wrong. In the other case, you have the person physical with you but avoiding because of an issue. All you needed is walk to him and talk it out.

It means one is not keeping malice, anger, or bitterness. Only that you want the best opportunity to talk about it.

2. The caretaker issue. Your response was not done with wisdom. The reason why he answered you in an insulting way and wanted to hit you. When a cup is shaken, it will spill whatever is in it. So, when they address you anyhow, what comes out of you is a function of what you have inside you. Always remember this, never to speak carelessly in a way someone will be rude to you in return. [6/18, 11:09 AM] Mercy: The security guy is not always on duty though the owner of the house lives in pH & he employ him clean & care for the compound & we where given the flat behind the mansion a very big compound where we & him lives alone, the caretaker only comes to check around and he also brings different women to the man's house but the security guy. So I approach him ( the security guy) to be more serious with God & his work in the compound he, refused, so I reported him to the owner of the house because the gate is always left open & he began to insult me. On your security guy. You did well by being concerned about his Christian life. But you didn't do it with enough wisdom. The guy is definitely in partnership with the caretaker, and there must be some benefits he is enjoying from it. When you dabble into such issues, it must be with the understanding of what he is gaining from the ungodly relationship or acts. The wisdom is to show him the other side; the negative consequences of what he is doing. Also, you must show him the right way to get at the things he thinks he is gaining now, with the promise of better things he will gain. You see, the concept of "what you are doing is wrong, and God is not happy with it" does not fly with this generation. Now, people don't believe in such. We must make the scriptures to become practical, showing them how it applies to the day-to-day life and the profits it will deliver, for them to embrace our gospel. Be blessed.
