Thank you so so much. I spent the last half hour trying to just get this duvet on - alone - like excluding the pillowcases and the sheet and everything and this helped so so much! It wasn’t working towards the bottom but after five minutes or so I realised that there was still a button done, causing the duvet to not be able to come through lol but seriously tysm!! You’ve helped a lot of people, including me 🙌

Hi, can a universal tow bar be fitted onto these? It looks like it goes in the middle, as opposed to the wide corners?

To make a video like this easy for the Layman to work on you should have shown up close an actual picture of the voltmeter setting. Many people that have a voltmeter bought it at some place like Harbor Freight and have no idea what any of the actual settings do. If it doesn't say the word battery they don't know that that's what it's for if it doesn't say diode test then they don't know that that's what it's for. If you're doing announce test then you need to say it's an ohms test and show the ohms setting. So again this being said it would be much more beneficial if you actually showed on the dial what you were setting it to.

I have an old house to demolish that has 300 blocks which I would like to use for a fence. I was thinking of removing the roof first and then slowly going from the top surface, block by block? Thank you my friend

Crushing the brake hose is about the dumbest thing you can do!!!!
@christopher_barr
@christopher_barr 19 күн бұрын
It was not "crushed", it was squeezed just enough to stop it leaking. Despite a number of doom-mongering comments, the brake hose was still perfectly serviceable 6 years after this video, when I put the car through its MOT (inspection) and sold it. Cheers, Chris

If the battery has been disconnected as per the video then the ECU will reset and over the course of a couple of hundred miles you should see fuel efficiency and engine performance improve. Chris 👍

Not a bad thing. Learning how to forage and hunt could come in useful too. It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it, and NOBODY can take away the knowledge we have in our heads... God bless, Chris 👍

After confirming it's the alternator, and not the alternator fuse. Yes, people seem to always forget the fuses while diagnosing electrical problems. But I digress, the next thing to check is, does it have a warranty on it? Most replacements now have lifetime warranties. If you insist on repairing a warranted alternator or starter, you are not thrifty, you are not ignorant, you are stupid. Yes, I know, some parts just can no longer be gotten. Time to blow the dust off your tools, and credit card, and buy new brushes and barrings and rebuild it yourself.

Great video Chris. Kudos for showing the challenges faced in the process. All too often in other vids the bolts are all pre-loosened and the spirit of the repair is lost. One Brembo caliper on my old BMW moto is dragging and I’m about to have a go at it. Thanks again.

I wanted to thank you ! I'm 22 and I was never looking forward to changing my bed sheets, it was too much of a hassle. So I used to do it once a month. I started using this method at the beginning of the year and I couldn't be happier. Now I change my sheets once every 2 weeks instead of once a month, I feel much cleaner.
