Towboat Arrives at Cordova

The “Cordova Twins”. We used to run up there regularly in the early 90’s, loading coal barges at Port Walker, very close to the head of navigation. I used to dread those bridges in that bend with empty barges (they slide so much)! I loved running the Mulberry fork, good to see boats are still doing it👍

Most bridges are located in a bend. It's cheaper to build. Usually means there is rock base, other wise the bend wouldn't be there. So they don't jave to dig as far down for the footing

You’re right. It’s a little hard. I’m learning a little more all the time, though. Using softer sounds the days. Since the drone doesn’t record audio, I have to add something to it. I really appreciate you watching the video, though!
