The “Cordova Twins”. We used to run up there regularly in the early 90’s, loading coal barges at Port Walker, very close to the head of navigation. I used to dread those bridges in that bend with empty barges (they slide so much)! I loved running the Mulberry fork, good to see boats are still doing it👍

Most bridges are located in a bend. It's cheaper to build. Usually means there is rock base, other wise the bend wouldn't be there. So they don't jave to dig as far down for the footing

Cap'n has to be mighty good a drivin', he's right up on the right bank to make the turn!!!

At least that point is shaved off and a little deeper water to work in. Then wouldn't you know it, a bridge! Ugghh.

That was cool watching his thrust change from side to side as he maneuvered under that bridge. 👍

Seems like a pretty tricky job to snake a machine that large through a spot like this.

Gotta wonder about so many hard overs both ways. That's just me though. Suggestion, lose the music. It didn't work for me with this video. Cheers.

Ну и зачем такие подвиги?Проще было провести баржи по одной.

Why the music ?- just unnecessary

You’re right. It’s a little hard. I’m learning a little more all the time, though. Using softer sounds the days. Since the drone doesn’t record audio, I have to add something to it. I really appreciate you watching the video, though!
