TOWER 28 CONCEALER CREASE PROOF?

This video is very timely because I've been thinking about trying the Tower 28 concealer. Now I know to definitely make the purchase.

I'd say go for it too. I'm 44 so I'm picky about concealer and I have not loved a concealer this much since... I can't even remember when. I have not yet tried the ND one but now that I have seen this video I'm going to stop procrastinating on trying that one out too. 😊

I love love this concealer. 54…dry, dark circles,puffiness. Being 54, imagine how many concealers I have tried and cried. This one, I highly recommend. It is hydrating. Love it ❤

I do love ND. I also love Sisley because it has a tightening action. In my case, Sisley wins for me because it does two things at once. Happy New Year Annie! I think this concealer looks very nice on you!

@@MakeupForMatureSkin I learned how to apply the Sisley concealer from you in the very first place! I also began using the ND concealer too…it is almost “good proof” for me! Another one I use and love is Cle de Peau…iit is VERY opaque and shields my undereye from sun damage. I also love a very inexpensive crayon-type made by L’Oréal called L’Oréal True Match Super-blendable crayon but I am sorry because I feel thst it is being discontinued. It is so super easy for me to use!

Great video, I appreciate that you show it without the lighting. I went to Ulta yesterday to try and color match tower 28 concealer and they didn’t have it in the store. Have you ever tried the Nars creamy concealer? If so, how did this compared to that one? What dual sided concealer brush were you using please?

DTLA = downtown LA I know that only because that’s my face shade and I, too, had no idea but curiosity led me to find out! Tower 28 products are mostly named after all things Cali, in this case (the new concealer) LA neighborhoods. LOVE this new concealer, although I need a lighter cool shade for under my eyes. I’ve been using this as foundation blended out sheet with a damp sponge, and I love it!

Hi Anne, thank you for the review! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I need to get the concealer. I've been using the Sisley concealer for a long time. Got it based on your recommendation. And I love it. Then I've purchased Chantecaille concealer which was on sale last December. The tower 28 is way less expensive and if it works for you then I'm sure that will work for me too. I haven't watched some of your videos lately because of my health issues but I'll try to do so. Oh, I missed watching your channel. ❤

Happy New Year Anne, I love my ND concealer from your recommendation, I got the colour corrector also in the same brand, it’s been my holy grail ever since, I’m not sure if Tower 28 is available here in Australia unless you purchase it online from somewhere and then you have shipping costs and everything else that comes with purchasing online, like getting the right shade match, especially with concealers, sometimes they can make you look like a Bright Headlights coming towards you if it’s not the right shade and you go too light….Looking Beautiful as always and Hope you had a Great New Years Celebration 🥳, I was in bed Lol 😂 way before midnight for this old girl, sleep is precious to me when I get it, I have enough problems with sleep as it is….Have a Great Week ahead Girlfriend. QUESTION: Hi! This is my 1st time coming across you and I agree 100%. I use the same shade (DTLA) in the Tower 28 and I love it. I was planning on picking up an ND concealer this week so may I ask what shade you use in the ND one??? It looks like we are pretty much the same color and undertone.

Hey Annie...Happy New Year! Question for you...can you tell me if there is any concealer that doesn't exaggerate fine lines. The amount of money I've spent on concealers this last year is ridiculous. They all accentuate my fine lines. I am using your tips of concealer application and have been for the last 6 months. Natasha, NYX, tinte idole, kulfi, Maybelline Instant Rewind and Fit Me, I can't remeber all of them but they all excentuate my fine lines. I have blue tones under my skin between my eyes on either side of the bridge of my nose so I need full coverage cause that blue tone bothers me. I also have that Colleen Rothschild under eye cream and nothing is make it look better. I know they won't go away, I just want my under eyes to look like they do without make up. I want my under eyes to not look cracky and cakey. I'm at my wits end.

I will concealer your tear troughs. You don't have to run out and get what I'm using in the video. It's all about technique 🙂

Have you tried using your creams at night on your eyes and an essence or thin hydrating serum before makeup and then letting it dry fully. Typically it’s a skin prep issue.

@@monicapatton1405 thank you for your response. I do give my skin prep 20-45 minutes before make up application to do my hair and get dressed. I've also cut down on how many skin care products I am using during the day.

@@MakeupForMatureSkin thank you Annie for the link and your response. I have been doing most steps as you indicated in more recent videos but I think I figured out the issue on my troughs. I could never get them to look like yours but it's because the application brush is not skinny enough. I'll change that out. My question was in regards to the fine lines (crow's feet) on the mid to outter portion of my under eye. There's one line that's deeper then the others and that's the one I have the most issues with looking exaggerated. I have mid-brown pigmentation on my eye lid and under the eye, so I have to conceal all of it. However, like I said before, I believe my application brush while thin wasn't thin enough to pick up less product. I'll give that a try.
