Saw Angel twice, and was able to go backstage once in LA. They were so laid back and nice. No egos. Just dudes wanting to rock and roll. Santa Monica Civic Auditorium back in the 70's. One of the most underrated rock bands of the 70's. Look up and listen to the albums. They stand the test of time.

saw these guys twice back in 77 and 80. still have all their albums! one of the best shows!

I remember seeing these guys in the late 70's. It was a midnight show at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica , CA and tickets were only $2 which was very cheap at the time . Great show and I always wondered why they never really took off.

Sadly I had to be a good kid and pull myself out of this set to back home!!!! To be 16 again!!! Had to back in Canarsie Brooklyn by 10! Felix Talks about Angel at MSG.... I truly saw it.... insane. I then got to see the whole set at Nassau Coliseum a few months later...

Thanks Michelle Dijares . I saw frank and the band he had around 2000 in St Louis MO at pops and he was great . I did not see punky , now i know why . I will never forget shaking his hand and the grace and smile he gave me . They were in white head to toe . Who ever said his voice is the same is wrong . He has lost a little bit , but not enough to matter . His body movement and his leg movement were right on . Rock n rollers ," to me " is in the top 20 songs of all time !
