In this series, I will let you follow my process of building a Mordheim gaming board almost in real-time!!
It's not a tutorial in a strict sense of this word - more a simple timelapse.
There is no commentary, no unnecessary cuts. All the video material I have managed to record (in chronological order) gathered in one (hopefully) coherent piece of footage.
EPISODE 1:
Starting with the ground floors of the gatehouse. Wanted to have this piece at least partially done before moving to the arrangement of the board, due to it being an integral part of the whole setup!
The main focus here was to make the whole structure as durable as possible, so I wouldn't need to worry about it being unstable!
The front wall is made out of 5mm thick PVC to ensure structural integrity.
The rest is basically just white polystyrene ( with some small pieces of XPS foam here and there to fill the gaps).
Also couldn't see myself trying to add all this cork in those narrow spaces after the gatehouse was already embedded into the board.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DISCLAIMER!!
1.This series will not replace my normal "Let's Build" tutorials. It's only an idea to expand the content of my channel and maybe help with finding interesting topics for future tutorials!!!
2.Those are some of my first recordings (made quite some time ago and at the beginning of my road to understanding the complexity of this process).
The quality and overall awareness of the video craft will improve with time. So, stay with me and enjoy the process!!!!
Music:
Mariusz Praśniewski: Double Bass
Wojciech Morelowski: Trumpet

Very good video, as it is possible to slow down and see more in detail what you do and the steps or go at "normal" speed and see the whole process in 5 min. I really like the format, however I do like a bit of written commentary here and there when you say go to next step. For me one of the biggest wins of your channel so far has been to see where to put effort in and where to just go fast as well as seeing you doing your process. Keep it up, and indeed the music.

Thank you very much!😊 The idea of this kind of video was to keep the commentary out soo it will not “disturb” the flow, but I understand your point! Will add (edit) the description of this one - also adding more in the future, so there is more info what’s happening in the video and I will work on adding some kind of “step” indications in the upcoming ones! Btw. If you have some questions please let me know! It would help me with the ideas for the new tutorials!😊 Ps: I’m happy you like it - and yes, it will stay (the music) 😉

Why it is so satisfying to watch you laying down cork tiles and so boring when I'm sitting down to do it for real? :D Anyway thanks for the video. I didn't expect you doing one for the new table so early. Looking forward to see this bad boy coming together!

Haha, that’s the mystery we will probably never find the answer to! I’m 100% with you on this one - love to watch other people working! With my own... the audiobooks are the savior! 😎 I’m happy to hear you like it! Yeah, I got a tone of recordings from this one already - maybe not precisely for a full scale board tutorial but enough to share work in progress stuff! I’m also really excited about this one - going for the gold here!😉
