Especially since they later find out the car wasn’t even authentic nor did it actually belong to Steve McQueen, since they accidentally discovered just about the whole thing is made of $45 Million Solid Gold rather than the alleged $20 Million in the hidden safe. At least part of the backstory was kinda true where it was assembled in the living room.
