To beat him with a weak character you gotta hang around his ankle and chip away with 1 or 2 hits then back of, always staying behind him. These guys with their overpowered characters can stand to whack him and take damage as their hit damage can outdo his, plus they've got vitality and hit resist with better armour. Simply by backing away after a hit or two you'll notice you're avoiding his slams or stomps. Don't get greedy, it's a battle of attrition.

gonna leave this here for anyone that may still be struggling (btw i beat him directly after phalanx so I didn't have many stats leveled up) but anyways here are some tips 1.make sure cling ring is equipped and any further lvls are into vitality 2.kill the archers first(I chose temple knight so I had the halberd which is a very good weapon especially early on actually ended up using it the entire game) but if you don't have that use whatever your comfortable with also suggest the battle axe which you get in 2-1turning right after going past the rays that throw boulders also make sure to use 2 handed 3.always be behind him whenever he does the aoe don't dodge away dodge towards his back side less range(also make sure you have your armor less than 50% this way you can fast roll) whenever he turns you turn and only make distance if you absolutely need to 4.if damage is a problem go to 2-1 kill some lizards get some upgrade materials and upgrade your desired weapon 5.if all that's not enough go do the first bosses from the other worlds instead while I fought him second he's supposed to be your 6th boss 6.if possable use magic damage that helps a ton you can get the sticky white slime in world 2-1 after passing the rats that throw boulders to your left Hope this helps and good luck to you all Happy demon hunting!!! :)

@@idudahkepake world 2 rats are tanky so use a spear,as for world 3 in terms of design i don't like it very much. the boss is very easy but that world is annoying. world 4 or 5 whichever is the swamp is by far the easiest in both bosses and amd world. if your stuck on the spider you dodge left or right and once you get close use a shield and spear to block the moves

I found a strat. After killing the archers stand either where they were. Than (and the timing is a little finicky) start your soul arrow just as he swings his sword back to cast his spell. Than roll to avoid his spell and your spell SHOULD hit his head. Again the timing is weird but just beat him doing this strategy.

This worked first try thanks! Low level royalty. I killed the archers then from the side from where the archers were stand on the last step from the top and timing is everything both to hit him and Dodge back.

My strat was: standing behind one of the pillars that leads up towards the archers (after defeating them ofc) The TK starts walking back and forth but doesn’t attack (once in a while he swings or shoots a spell) but just aim at his head when he has his shield facing the gate spam him with arrows or spell. Wow! I feel like I'm one of the few that played and mastered this on the PS3. Loved the hell out of the game. BLUEBLOOD sword full LUK made invading fun as hell lol. Graphics got improved so much!!! Too bad I've abandoned consoles for PC since than. Sadly ps3 was my last console until I got a switch

I think with backwards compatibility it makes the ps5 worth while. You get a whole previous generation of games worth playing. And with the new xbox you can play every xbox game ever pretty much. Backwards compatibility really sold me on this generation although I'm not desperate to get them at launch knowing the pro versions will be sold sometime in the next couple of years.

If you want the hidden trophy go towards the front of the arena with the thief ring on archers won’t get you and just go after them ankles I suggest grabbing the crescent falchion and make sure equip burden is no more then 40% so you can fully roll I got him 1st try

This guy grinded and grinded and grinded and leveled up his stats for it to be this easy. Trust me, there is no other way that to grind for souls and level up at the wax eyed Lady in the nexus. I messed up and was putting my souls into random stats that did not benefit my warrior one bit. I beat 3 bosses in level one 2 bosses in level 2 and one boss in level 3 and decided to restart the game and put my souls into proper stats. This guys also leveled up his weapon several times to do 1 hit kills. He obviously grinded to raise stats, simple as that but the jack ass doesn't mention that in the video and has everyone confused. It's like every KZbin does this for some odd reason.
