Hope Mary enjoyed her time away - she is always missed . I appreciate all NSF but Mary's perspective is always unique. Been watching since Star Hopper and wish I could contribute more than views and likes. One does what one can. Take care all.

I was intrigued by the buzz like sound heard at the beginning of this video. That buzzing sound is made by the nighthawk which is not a hawk, but is prediminatly an insect eater included with other birds called nightjars. They are mostly noctural or crepuscular meaning active at dawn or dusk. They dive through the air catching small insects in flight. These could be either Common or Lesser nighthawks both of which can be found in this area. They look very similar.

I've noticed the construction workers look very relaxed and pretty content working for spacex I'm pretty sure they're treated very well and they got perks that are given to them I work construction most of my life and I could tell by watching and these hands are very good at what they do they seem very competent elon and his management team know how to pick the right people companies are willing to pay top dollar for people who are really good they're just getting tired of rejects who can make it really hard for everybody else at work i've been there many times I'm a union hand but sometimes our union in the past has allowed people in our organization to ruin a lot of these construction jobs and wondered why we were losing customers well fortunately we have straightened that out and now it's looking a lot better for us we got to quit being enemies of each other and work together this is business it should not be politics I agree with the enormous attitude I'm tired of the political atmosphere at work that's the problem with working for government too much politics and favoritism

It’s cool to think of the new upgrades to the chopsticks as this wasn’t supposed to be. Remember sn10 had landing legs… boosters maybe and the thing is they are more prioritized about starship than the booster.

The chopsticks must be strong enough to capture a 'worst case' approach of a superheavy AND it has to be low enough INERTIA to move quickly. This is the true "Engineering" in the trade space of strength, maneuverability, margin, and finally cost. And I wonder if they have even considered a launch abort for any reason. Could they dump fuel and return if they lost too many engines during ascent for example? Could they still separate, turn around, waste all fuel and land on a tower ready (two towers?) to catch? Would they ditch Starship and save Super heavy? I don't know which one is more valuable in the end (probably SS)

Just curious as to why they are replacing the tiles on 31 when the tiles on 30 haven't been proven yet?
@georgem1290Ай бұрын
Well... easy science m8. At some point you will have to change from 1.0 to 2.0. Even if they haven't proven the new heat-tiles yet, they are proven as single parts to be stronger than 1.0. Why fly S31 with the old shielding when they have the time on their hands to change it to 2.0? I don't find your comment being logical. S31's flight is in no way related to how good S30's shield will hold up. They were already upgrading the shield before S29 launched. :)
@ericpaul4575Ай бұрын
They at least need to strip off the known bad tiles. They may wait to put new tiles on until after 30 files, or they may just go with the upgrade and fix on 33.
@DirewizardryАй бұрын
Also what if 30 never makes it to reentry? Then 31 is ready to go with the change as well. Then SpaceX at least has some data. If both ships make it, then that's double the amount of data to see if the change works!
@jebediahkerman3946Ай бұрын
So if the booster catch works, will they try to re-fly it? 🤔
@knowledgeisgood9645Ай бұрын
Unlikely. They will want to examine it in every way possible.
@georgem1290Ай бұрын
There's no way they will try to re-fly it. They will most probably do the same thing they did with Falcon 9's booster first landing. Examine. It's like an alien autopsy. New ground. Something that has never been made before. Think it's going to take a few landings with boosters before they feel confident enough to relaunch one :)

At least 200 new hangars and launch towers need to be built ASAP (along with more fuel fabrication facilities/power plants, road widening, and infrastructure moved underground. Roads need to be widened at least three times to accommodate the larger starships). The current pace is still far from Musk’s goal. (Musk hopes to build at least 350-1,000 Starships per year)

While Elon Musk's traitors harm the lives of users, without him even suspecting it, such is the conscience he places on everyone, he continues to fulfill his mission, and build the future of our children here on this planet, and beyond. And this already compensates for all the pain of evil in this world. Congratulations to everyone who is part of this great project. And they will build a new model city in Texas, with morals and ethics, morals, principles, where the population will be able to interact as one big family, and I hope they plant many trees and flowers, that sports are not for competitive purposes (because I personally consider it foolish, and a cult of the ego), but for fun and health, and outdoors. 👏👏👏👏🌟🌟💫❤️❤️❤️🌹
