What broke me is that Chaol's so happy to be going back to Aelin and everyone but little does he know that it's Lysandra pretending to be Aelin 😭😭 What's going to happen when Yrene sees Aelin and realised it's the girl who helped her in Innish but Aelin (Lysandra) won't recognise her 😭😭😭 I'm SHOOK TOWER OF DAWN WAS SO GOOD

I was also sure it was the kaghans wife totally did not see it coming that it was duva! I loved tod so much! But i just don't know how sarah is going to fit everything in that last book. Of everyone gets a chapter we're going to be a 1000 pages in before aelin even gets out of that coffin!

OKAY I JUST FINISHED AND I'M DEAD AHHH also now realizing I've been pronouncing Yrene in my head SO WRONG lol i never was a nesryn and chaol shipper BUT OMG IM ALL FOR CHAOL AND YRENE YESSSSS!!! literally you're making all of these connections with acomaf and crown of midnight and i can't ahhhh literally getting all the feels. when falkan appeared i screamed omg all these character connections are making my mind explode ALSO HIS CONNECTION WITH LYSANDRA I'M DEADDDD this whole connection with healers is insane they're the key and i just can't HOW IN THE WORLD DID SJM THINK OF THIS CRAP SO FAR IN ADVANCE ahhh loved this book so much i totally shipped chaolaena and my love for chaol has definitely been reignited. afangirlsbookshelf AHHH GIRL IM SO HAPPY YOU ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS I DID. And yesss all the connection literally almost had be bawling. Can’t handle this book I cannot. I just realized that if/when Yrene meets Aelin again it’ll be a big moment for her since she carries that note around, but it won’t even be Aelin it’ll be LysSANDRA UGHHHHHHH. There’s too much to say about this book hahah but I’m so happy you’re as hyped as me!! 😭💖💖❣️

I just finished ToD last night! This review was everything!! I'm so glad someone else fangirls over Chaol and Yrene as much as me 😂 I'm so with you about the fan art. The first thing I did when I closed the book was search Tumblr for fan art and there wasn't much. I need to see my ship! Haha while I was on Tumblr I also saw this post talking about how when Yrene meets Aelin in the next book, it won't actually be Aelin since Lysandra took her form in EoS! I Hadn't even thought of that while I was reading! So crazy! Loved your review! 💖

I just finished reading Tower Of Dawn! I LOVED IT! Filming a book review tomorrow! I love the new characters (Sartaq, Borte, Hasar). Don't really love Yrene, but she's alright. I'LL FOLLOW SARTAQ AND NESRYN TO MY GRAVE. Was so nice to hear a positive review on this book- all the others haven't been as nice!

Wasn't it Dorian who destroyed the glass castle not Aelin? I thought they just decided to say it was aelin because if everyone knew Dorian blew up his own castle that would lead to too many questions

London Horses oooh yes sorry if I said Aelin! They just reference her in the entire book doing it so I got used to saying it, but you're right! Dorian was the one who delivered the killing blow destroying the castle 🔥

I was not excited to read ToD because Chaol made me mad in QoS even though I loved him in all the other books. But boi was I so happy that I read it! It was so freaking good, it's probably my favorite book in the series now (even if it doesn't have my fav character Manon in it). I'm so glad that Chaol, Nesryn, and Yrene got a whole book. I shipped all the ships and I laughed all the laughs and cried all the crys

Hi Ashely, I just wanted to say hello and that I'm new to your channel. I just finished Tower Of Dawn a couple of weeks ago and loved it. I loved at the end when Chaol read the note; and he knew it was Aelin that wrote it. And he silently thanked her for leading himself and Yrene together. I'm currently reading Kingdom Of Ash. I know this comment is so late from when you did this review. I only started reading SJM books last year, so I'm late to party as they say. However, I love both SJM series.

your review pretty much sums up how i felt throughout the entire book. i was really excited to hear that i would get an entire novel dedicated to my baby! and yeah there has been a lot of people saying how they fell back in love with chaol but not me. i was already in love with him. lol but honestly, i still don't know how to feel about yrene. don't get me wrong, i like her and i like them together i just don't like the fact how they're tied together now and how dependent they are of each other. idk to me it just feels like something bad's gonna happen in the next book and that scares me. anyway, i really liked your review and you covered pretty much everything i wanted to hear. haha :'D so thanks!

I hated Yrene from the moment I met her in Asassin's Blade. She didn't interest me at all because she was rather boring. Now I rather enjoyed parts with Nesryn and Sartaq. I love those two as much as I love Aelin and Rowan.

I also thought the khagan's wife was going to be the Valg. There's this one scene Nesryn (i think) saw her in the garden and this is right before (or after?) the library attack happens so this is why. AND I LOVE CHAORENE YES I SHIPPED THEM FROM THE BEGGINING I NEVER SHIPPED CHAOL WITH NESRYN. When I started the book me and my friend (with whom I was reading the book) were like ?!?!??!?! Is this a thing??? this has to be a thing!!!! We started to ship Chaol and Yrene but we weren't even sure if it was going to sail BUT YES IT DID AND IT WAS SO SATISFYING.It also killed me to know how Chaol really felt, how he never really got over what happened and Celaena and how everything was still tormenting him so much. I was a hard Chaolaena shipper but I eventually ended up shipping Rowaelin but ashdaishfa it still hurt so much, the chaolaena feels *cries*. And how sarah brought back quotes from tog and com. Like when Chaol says he feels home when he is with Yrene and at the end when she is healing him (the last session) and sarah uses the 'a better future waiting on the other side of the line' while Yrene extends a hand to him, HOW U DARE SARAH. And Nesryn and Sartaq omg I LOVED THEM. I kinda also shipped them from the beggining too. AND MAEVE IS A VALG QUEEN. NOW IM SO SCARED ABOUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO AELIN. And the last line of the 'fireheart' chapter is 'Let's begin'. LIKE MAEVE WHAT ARE U GOING TO DO. I cant wait for tog7 :(

I just finished this book and it was good. I forgot how much I love Chaol. And I must say I love Sartaq + Nesryn. They are perfect for each other and I have to say that in the beginning I didn't like Hasar but by the end I actually really liked her. I love Yrene. This book was better than I expected her to be. i still had a few issues with it. It was more like a 3.5 star rating for me but I still really enjoyed this book.

Omg i was laughing the whole time, your funny girl. I was excited when chaol and yrene fell in love, the book surprised me big time, was disappointing at first upset that its just chaol in the book, but... im glad she did it this way. you get to see him grow and move on. im new to this series i found the throne of glass series in august read all of them and NOW im caught up. phew! all 6 books. now im waiting for court thorn roses to arrive.three more books to read EXCITED!

It all comes down to her attitude. I liked Aelin/Celeana in the first 3 books. But now I hate her. She's very arrogant and entitled. Aelin expects everyone to follow her. She's the Queen of Terrasen but she has no idea how to run a kingdom. She doesn't know how to share her plans to her so called friends and allies.
