Genuinely so sick of the constant hating and comparisons. Genshin was compared to Breath of the wild, and hounded on constantly. Despite that, it turned out to be an amazing game, with sadly a quite controversial fandom. Ive been playing genshin since launch, and have been following the betas of ToF for nearly as long. Im glad to see a string of good rpg games, and hope to see more games come along. I understand if ToF isn't everyone's cup of tea, or even genshin. Just don't make somebody feel bad for wanting to have fun. Don't play the game, and leave.

I am having the time of my life playing Tower of Fantasy and best of all, I stylized my character to my idol Miku and feel I'm in heaven. Naysayers be damned, it's an infant game only a month or 2 old..they're already good enough creating the game and can only get better. The only thing that they need to improve is the map loading time frame. Other than that, it's awesome

kinda annoyed that global stamina/vitality is capped at half the chinese server's amount. i've been playing the game when i can (can't get to it every day, and a lot of those daily things you've pointed out, i haven't unlocked yet), and so far it's fun. i love the exploring aspect, and the little cheeky double jump thing you can do while climbing makes me feel like i'm doing something bad when i'm not lmao

My question is HOW MUCH it costs to reach the pity everyone keeps going on and on about reaching 80 pity and how the pity carries over but not a single person is mentioning the price tag associated with this. If dolphins and F2P can't afford to reach the 80 pity then telling them to do so becomes redundant as they Can't AFFORRD to do so obviously. We need to know what the COST is per 10 pulls before ANYTHING is decided.

I made a mistake where I played on a server for 10 hours then I saw something happen in the chat and didn't want to stay on that server anymore. Then I went to another server (this time I was sure it was the right one) but what happened was that I just wanted to get on to the grind asap and kept clicking mouse & enter continously and accidentally chose a character with wrong gender and now it's just stuck there. Won't play it. Seems that I have a little choice. Need to pick another server... again. Spent so long with these character creations already it's just pain

SOOOO...I took my gear off after thinking I upgraded the slot. When I took the piece off...the it didn't keep the stats for the other piece. Maybe they changed the gear enhancing. Edit: So I got to a part where it asks me to retain or not retain the + for the gear. :D all is well!!!

Keep in mind these guides though they don't say it, are for people who are trying to min max everything. Play the game how you want, spend your resources on what you want. You ARE NOT going to keep up with the whales. Streamers are currently at like 5k CS working toward like level 50 of Phantasm. Meanwhile on my server someone is 16k CS on floor 103. Play the game at your own pace, don't listen to these videos that are like "YOU HAVE TO MIN MAX, DON'T OPEN CHESTS UNTIL THIS POINT, DON'T SPEND CURRENCY ON ANYTHING BUT THIS ITEM" because ultimately, it won't matter, and once you have completed 100% exploration on all of the zones, your gameplay is going to be logging in daily to do an hour or two of stuff and then going to play a different game. Same thing happened with Genshin where a ton of 'THINGS TO KNOW' videos came out and they were all like 'SPEND YOUR PRIMOGEMS DAILY' and then we all found out that there's nothing to do at endgame. Don't rush yourself. Just enjoy the game.

I very much prefer the Genshin system where the pity towards the guarantee carries over. I feel like I got at least half of my limited 5* in Genshin by just throwing 20-30 pulls at a character I'm only semi-interested in and getting lucky. And some of these Characters later turned out to be my absolute favorites, like Yoimiya. It looks like in ToF you will only ever get the SSRs that you really really want and no others. People get hung up on the fact that pity doesn't reset and you need "only" 120 pulls for the guarantee while in Genshin it's 140 for soft pity and 160 for guarantee. But as someone who would like to just do a couple of pulls every now and then to see if I get lucky for a character I might like but won't go all-in for, these red tokens being converted to gold at the end of the banner pretty much ruins the whole thing for me.

I do some dolphin spending (Used to be a whale for the first like 6 months) and I tend to save up the primos for banners I like, but occasionally I spend them on other banners and knowing that if I don't get that character it doesn't screw me over for my ultimate goal is very nice.

small brain take, there's 3 different banners, the limited, the standard and the free banner free banner = purple balls, has a daily summon limit of 500 summons, no pity, no guarantee but rate is 0.3 for SSR, simple math, with 1000 summons you're guaranteed 3 SSR at the very least with 1000 summons, purple balls are very easy to get, you can more or less get 500 summons a month standard banner = gold balls, has 80 pity (first time pity 30), 50/50 always, can buy whatever SSR is in the standard banner with the gold token you acquire from summoning in the standard banner it has 1:1 ratio for the gold token, SSR are limited to 2 copies every 2 week or so, you can only buy SSR that you already have, gold balls are rare but you can get quite a lot limited banner = red balls, similar to standard banner, only difference is it's a limited banner, has no limit on how many copies of the limited banner character/weapon you can buy with red token, but at the end of the banner any red token gets converted to gold tokens, red balls are very rare to get so it's recommended to save dark crystal for the limited banner if you wanna do "safe/feeling lucky" summons, do it on the free banner, also if you don't wanna go over 120 then just make sure you summon until 120? red tokens are only available if you've summoned on the limited banner it's 1:1 with the red balls

I was talking about the limited banner only since that is the only one that matters since you will get pretty much every standard banner SSR sooner or later. Deleting your progress towards the guarantee for a limited character at the end of each banner is just terrible.
