Thank you very much for your positive feedback. I didn't use any washers on the video to save time! We fit washers and Nylock nuts on all our fasteners and recommend customers do the same for their boom connections etc. We will soon be adding a number of technical support documents and tools to our website, we will add one to cover the options for a tilt-over tower...

Indeed. It's ideal for those in terraced houses that often have narrow but, at the same time, long gardens (so long as the boom is not wider than the garden). It's also great for those fortunate enough to have paddocks/large gardens.

Hi all, We just added a free-to-download calculation sheet at www.towermate.co.uk for you to check the strength of your stub mast under luffing and maximum wind loading. It works for single or stacked configurations, and accounts for steel or aluminium stub masts. It calculates the strength safety factor and the deflection of the stub mast under loading.
