Someone mentioned this already, but it bears repeating, you missed the chest in the small pond by the early quest that teaches you to fish and hunt with a bow and spear.

Hardwood can be found in Revelwood area- chop down the massive trees there 👍🏼

@@rackmo1pick those cotton plants with an iron shovel no less, you can find them anywhere even the first island after growing your tree to stage 3 i think maybe 2..
