Trent, you can supply air to the towed truck through the signal line to the air governor or push air in through the air dryer relief valve. These can be easier to find than the wet tank.

we have a 2006f350 diesel which doesnt like extreme cold weather.i use power service antigel but it doesnt have heaters on the two fuel filters.jelled up on me ,a bunch of times i have been with my company for 10 years. those preheaters for the fuel filters are so worth it. i know your out in california,you dont have to deal with this.thats why the trooper gave me a bunch of flares. fuel jelling is common up our way during the brutally cold days.and then think about it if its 10 below zero than you drive at 45mph the windchill on the filters is -40 degrees or more. love your channel ,great videos. stay safe.they have arrow boards,left and right you should look into this put this on the back of what your. towing maybee people will get over. i took a pic today of a new york state dot vehicle. it shows it . i could send it to plaza towing number think it would help.

hey trent as always a great video.nice to see you took my advice on the plastic bags for the driveshaft parts.cant believe drivers just cant get over. an idea put out flares on the dangerous areas 30 minute. people will think the police are ahead, the yellow lights mean nothing to stupid people.i would bet you have a great relationship with the police they would proabally give u some free flares. i live in upstate new york i had mentioned to a local state trooper ,about breaking down on bad areas blind turns, he gave me a bunch of flares.did this to keep me safe.we have a towing expo coming in june in lake george ny i hope you guys can come.would be nice to meet you.i follow u malachi mckay and ron pratt ,all great videos.

You need to use something besides Armor All on your tires. When I was in the detailing business we used STP Son of a Gun or a water based tire dressing.

Every time you go on a call in a bad spot like that my blood runs cold I've been there too many times.... Also you might want to go to some place like Sam's club and get a big box of sandwich bags for nuts bolts and washers from drive lines or whatever else I also carried mechicans waterless hand cleaner and a few rolls of paper shop towels...

Crazy drivers won’t get over. California should let tow trucks run red and blue lights and maybe people will move over then. Great video, safe hook up and tow.

All the lights in the world won't make a difference if the tow truck is in front of a truck + trailer. They need to have signage that warns drivers to get over, especially during the day.

Be careful when in a situation like that. My mechanic lost a leg while on a call. He was a roadside tech and a car sideswiped the truck he was working on and him.
