Hey brother, I'm a transplant from New Jersey, just moved to NC a couple weeks ago. I'm in Greenville. I've got a 2006 base matrix in the same color. 5 speed. Love it. I've already got the same Curt hitch installed. I was planning on putting the Curt trailer lighting kit on it and getting a 2" hitch ball kit from RockAuto... I was wondering which hitch adapter you got. I want to buy/tow a utility trailer like the one you guys have got to move stuff around. They have one with a 3/4" rise and one with a 3 and 1/4" drop.

I would do a hitch with a rise, as the car still sits a little low. And gets worse with a load. But it pulls great! As far as the hitch ball, we buy our hitches at Harbor Freight lol

I'm thinking of towing around 2500 lb (total weight) of load from Texas to Iowa via 2009 matrix. Do you think that is possible??
