15:02 the reason, presumably, that there isn't communication between the jailor and the jailee in vip mode is because the jailor can ask, "who's the vip?" And only good people can answer correctly.

This is my thinking too, Jailer would be massively OP'ed else since they'd always know. They could have fixed it by having Jailer being an exception and not know who VIP is, would be the alternative solution.

There is no whispering or talking to the jailer, because then you could just message the VIP or confirm with the jailer who the VIP is to prove your alignment, which becomes too easy to root out the bad guys

I loved seeing more of the All/Any VIP session! It's such a fun mode for the game and really brought about so many interesting moments! I loved Ze's silent crusade against Vikram in the first round, and it was so funny in the second round when there were no roles available to protect or support the VIP, leading to an instant game-over lol. I also loved Ze's poetry that he did not want his friends to see-you should be proud of your rhyming skills, Ze! Not everyone can come up with poetry as quickly as you did! It was also so interesting to hear Chilled slip up as a bad guy by questioning the VIP about the VIP role, as well as later on when he questioned the VIP as arsonist, and it will be so cool to watch as people learn how to navigate through these twists of the game in the future. Chibi's 'defense' and Court forgetting who the VIP was were also hilarious moments in that second round! I wish Witch Ze had been able to utilize Berserker Chilled more but it was still funny to see Chibi keep trying to silence him every time she could, lol. Most thrilling of all was seeing Ze get his Baker win at last! Free bread for all courtesy of our favorite baking streamer! He truly does have the fastest fingers in all of gaming! XD

I understand why y'all think doing good things to the vip is a bad thing, but everyone is going to think that. So if you knight the vip then the bad guys have to decide whether you decided to put a target on the vip or if you knighted a random person, or did you trap the vip's house or a random house. In the case of hidden information, i.e. roles like cleric and trapper, you can even lie about who you visited. So even if you said you visited the vip you could have lied. If anything, if you assume know one is being honest about visiting the vip, then you can assume who the vip is based on who people aren't visiting.

In VIP mode, if there's a confirmed cleric (either someone's outed as cleric, or bc it's guaranteed to be in the pool), knight the vip. If cleric does their job, making them a target won't be a problem. Maybe wait until night 3 to make sure there isn't a werewolf who could rampage and kill the cleric tho

I think the reason the jailor and prisoner can't speak when in VIP mode is that the jailor can just ask, "Who is the VIP" and if the prisoner doesn't answer right they get killed.

So, word of advice: if you're witch, claiming lookout or tracker is a good play when you find neutral killers/apoc. If you'd said "I'm lookout, saw chilled visit shubble and now shubble is dead to a berserker" that would've solved that problem. He might've tried outing you as witch if he was put on the stand, but instant conjure would've silenced him before he could say that. Even if he does out you as witch, that's still trading 1 of 4 coven for your main competitor - and you'd have a 4v4 tie after chilled gets hanged or conjured, so you could only die to vigi, jailor, or deputy.

I think the reason whispering and jail talk is disabled is to stop people from quietly passing on who the VIP is, you for the fun of it. because you know some people would, if they could. now, the only way, other than using some other communications system, phone, text, messenger, yahoo chat if that still exists, so on and so forth, the only in game way to pass that information on is to speak it aloud, then everybody knows who the prick is. it really is not something most people would do, it's too public. I dare say there are one or two people who have done it though, just to be absolute arseholes.

Like base is basic defense, if they would get basic defense they instead get powerful defense, and if they like for instance get healed (cause think that gives powerful defense) they'd be unkillable during that night

VIP modifier is pretty much the same as VIP mode from ToS1, with the exception of any evil faction can win instead of it being Coven only. If Town or Neutral Evils kill the VIP, all Townies die and the evils remain to duke it out, otherwise if an Neutral Killing, Neutral Apocalypse or Coven kills the VIP they instantly win. All Townies know who the VIP is, unless they're Town Traitor (if that modifier is also used)
