could let you determine who's socialite if you managed to check people's houses before the round started i'd suggest a generic party room like how the jailor has their unique jail cell

Agreed. That would solve the whole issue with Jailor. It could also make things like calling for a Crusader when pirated more interesting because Pirate could throw in some misinformation to make the whole thing sketchier.

I'd say the real power of the socialite is being able to prove themselves so easily. I always said this about roles in tos 1 and Ultimate werewolf, if the role can confirm itself super easily it's really powerful and usually not very fun since the social deduction is all about not knowing.

I thought of a balance to Socialite. Make it be a mask party and everyone has annonymous chat. It would be a mess but it wouldn't be so broken either

So I tried calculating the odds for guessing 3 coven randomly with doomsayer and got ≈1.36% chance since 2 townies were already dead. Possible but very unlikely. Assumed it’s an equal 20% chance for each number of coven in a game (1 to 5), but I’m not sure you can get a solo coven game. ≈1.7% chance if solo isn’t possible.

I think socialite should have everyone outside of their house while socialite is in the podium entertaining town everyone(and also in chat) will have the sillhoute of their role so coven can actually coordinate because they are anonymous and can whisper(since they are in the town) the people should be able to move around and to whisper you need to be close to who you wanna whisper(your teammates are enlighted in their color of their faction like coven will have a purplish aura behind them if you are their teammates so you can more easily whisper to ur team and your coven/apoc teammates will be completly anonymous in the chat and also having the placeholder silhoutte) socialite should also roleblock jailor execute and ability to chat in jail but their target will be still in jail so socialite will work as something for town to coordinate while coven is also able to coordinate

your idea completely ruins the point of socalite i like the idea of everyone being out in the courtyard at night, but coven being able to coordinate in whispers effectively means that socialites ability to distrupt night chat is made pointless
