Sorry, but I have played games (when I still played) where I got Mafia 5 times in a row, game after game after game. And it was even GF or Mafioso. It was the bloody Framer. Now, explain to me how I can get Mafia/Framer 5 times in a row when I don't have any sort of Mafia scrolls on? If the answer is, "I don't know", then you're in the same boat as me. Because, I don't know either. And it wasn't like I left the first 3 times. I really tried to play, but the first 2 games, I got taken out by the SK N1 and the Vet N1 respectively. 3rd game, both the GF and Mafioso left, leaving me the lone Mafioso and I got outted by the Invest D3, jailed and exe the next night. 4th game, I was just tired of playing Mafia, so when I came up as Forger again, I immediately quit and started another match. When the 5th match came up as Forger, I quit that one and quit playing for the night. Don't even play the game anymore, but I can tell you that whatever they use to pick player's roles needs to be seriously fixed (unless they have fixed it already), because that's just ridiuclous.

i am also terrible with maf but i don't leave. won by having teammates that were good and in more then one occasion it was cus if i left maf would not have majority at the end. so i agree winning is not impossible if maf does not leave.

I love Skimm's logic, D3 when RM still hadn't visited, I also came to the conclusion about a bm'er. Framer would either at least make it look like RM was something else, consig would be useless without any visits, consort would likely block a spy at some point, janitor/Disguiser/Forger HAVE to visit at some point (Unless janitor wants to seem more medium like). Also, if you really wanted to prove yourself as spy? Servus checked you, you were inno, you can't be GF. You were confirmed.

Speaking of Consig, I wonder if this would be a valid strat. As Consig visit the same person over and over (in ranked kind of modes, it might make town think there's no consig. If you get lynched, they may lynch the spy for "holding out information and faking maf visits so that maf still got info."

@@Kangel15onps3 if you get healed it doesn't show to the attacker "your targets defense was too strong!", it's like attacking witch's defense, so healing was out of question if they had the defense message pop up. Only could be immune, transed with immune, BG selfvested or the attacker could be lying. (duh)

If it was a real spy(I know it's not but let's pretend) they have no way of know if he was attacked and didnt die because of a successful heal, attacked in jail, or was immune. A real spy would never know which it was which is why when he said that 13 was immune that was suspicious because no real spy would know. They would only know that he was visited and didnt die because of those 3 reasons

Had a game the other day where all 3 of my fellow mafia left instantly on day 1. Almost felt like they planned it... I also happened to get jailed n1 Attacked Witch on n2 not knowing they were witch Arso got caught on day 3 and didn't even claim Retri revived the one town I managed to kill before they lynched witch. Got jailed again. Managed to make the most ballsy call out while claiming invest and guessed right on who the vigilante was. But unfortunately towns were all confirming each other. I didn't get lynched immediately after being jailed since of all the nights, mafia was literally only able to attack once, but I still got lynched soon after. Like this could not have been stacked more against me, but at least I still tried. I really think there needs to be harsher penalties for people who leave the game.

BMer played that well, active all game so others died first and didn’t BM so that their spy claim didn’t scream suspicious. Also kept will legit. In the end, it came down to mafia leaving. If even one more had stuck around it could have easily come down to a 50/50 for the jailord.

Had a game where I was mafioso, went with a fake vet claim. A framer left N1, wrote the names of ALL mafia in their will the next day as an F U to maf roles in general (they got reported of course). Other mafia gave up and didn't fight the framer's will. I tried my hardest to pass off the framer's will as an elaborate troll to get townies lynched, by claiming vigi. Lasted 3 more days, killed some town, got mad respect from other folks that game even though I lost. Was the most fun I've ever had in Town of Salem so far. So much of Town of Salem is NOT the roles by themselves, it's how you fill the roles and how you suss out the personality of the other people around you to figure out their roles as well, get into their heads to try and make them do what you want them to do. Also had a fun game where spy immediately called me out D2 in whisper, asking if I was arsonist. My first reaction? I thought they were Godfather (I was attacked the previous night), and they were trying to get a claim out of me for their benefit. It was just a heckuva scum read from the lucky spy, so I had no choice but to try to discredit them. I claimed BG and tried to convince everyone that the spy was lying, that I was not attacked AND that the "spy" was trying to get legit Bodyguard lynched for some reason. I fended off town for another three nights (got lynched before I could ignite, it was a great game tho).

I feel like the two Mafia members leaving evened it out. Had one Escort disconnecting before the Mafioso DC'd (Mafia death note shows Mafioso wasn't afk), and a Lookout that said nothing, until it was 6 seconds remaining from being lynched, wasn't on the TP/LO call, and visited the Veteran N3 (which isn't inherently bad, but Veteran could of alerted again). The way alot of Town were playing, it wasn't good.

Sometimes silence does pay off. I played a game where I was WW. Didn't say anything the entire game, stayed home on WW nights and no one visited and nobody pointed a finger at me, so I guess they thought I was the silent Townie or something (I honestly don't know). I don't even remember the final 2 players left (I think it Mafioso and Doc, but not too positive on that) and it was a full moon night. I clicked my name and let the chaos begin. Both visited, both died, and I walked out the lone survivor. I can only imagine the Dead Chat when they saw that the 2 players were "Mauled By Werewolf" come up on the screen. But I did get a lot of congrats after the win screen, as it was actually my first Werewolf win.

imo it depends what town role u are if ur being silent. quiet tp is different than a quiet ti. To that don’t share any info are useless and hurt town. if u watch really high elo players on KZbin you’ll see most ti most right at the start of day and there’s CONSTANT talking (which can also hurt town if it’s spammy) & sharing roles

Buying scrolls does not guarantee you won't be Mafioso. I had scrolls and was still Mafioso 3x in a row... I totally understand leaving when that happens. But my solution was to stop playing and supporting shitty devs who don't seem to even care about the community and whether they're having fun :(

One time I was mafioso and one of the rm dced with the other being consort and getting caught by the lo and killed so it was me and gf from D2 on. We both acted so much like town and worked with the witch that we were able to win.

this was indeed a good bm play, it feels legit until the spy claim started to bug you constantly (which is pointless), and managed to eliminate the guy who tried to check her (even tho you communicated via whispers). if not for the mafia leavers, it might take a next level of scumread to expose her.

Does the spy bug catch visits by sheriff? Because if so, you could've called Mary out right away when she said her bug was on you with no results the same night you were visited by sheriff.

Spy does not catch visits from other ti roles, remember there is a reason there is usually two ti roles because spy can only see mafia visits as well as anything bugs can catch such as a jailor who jailed sk or ww, anyone attacked, a doc healing someone, a witch or a transporter. However there are two tactics I use as spy, one of them is check with anyone visited by mafia to see if anything happened the other way is if I have a successful bug I talk to the town on what I saw. One time I saw someone transported and next day I said transporter please claim as I found someone who was transported, eventually the transporter came out and I caught him transporting himself
