I'm not, like, the *best* mafia player in the world, but still.

I feel like some people don't understand that the goal of jester is to get lynched by ANY MEANS NECESSARY. That may also include asking for pity or bargaining with town/evils. I am NOT saying that you should always pity jesters even if they don't deserve it, I'm just saying that you should not call a player bad for not making an awesome jest play and instead asking mafia or town to lynch you.

Pro tip: when someone gets lynched, you can click on their name in the player list to see their role immediately after they die. Waiting for the "[name]'s role was [town role]" message to show up and then claiming Exe is kind of a red flag that experienced players should pick up on. edit: Ofc you could do this when you actually are exe, in order to cause more chaos by making people think you're maf

In a game of vampire hunter, jailor, vampire, and me (the jester) left, I convinced them to hang me and I'd get the vampire. They actually went through with it, and I killed the vampire hunter and the jailor didn't have any exes left so they got turned and the vampires won. I felt bad for the vampires - they struggled all game.

I can honestly imagine a setting where its WW, Vet, and Jest. The WW kills Vet, and Vet kills WW, leaving Jest alive. No one wins. I wonder what the victory screen would look like, because it always says "Werewolf win!" or "Town win!" or "Mafia win!" ect. ect. But if its a Jester as the only one alive... then no one wins.
