Nice walk through. There is also a huge peir with sandy Beach volleyball courts and fishing where you first entered and an enormous park on the other side with playground equipment and picnic tables. Sylvan Lake is the best!!!

This is really good for an Alberta lake. The BC lakes are a lot deeper (like 500 feet deep) and bigger but like you said it is busy here and fairly nice.

Sylvan lake depth max 60 feet, Shuswap lake depth is 161 meters (528 feet). Anyway this is a recreational lake, not a mountain lake.
