I'm a Townhome junkie. I have a theory that in my last life I owned one and was very happy there. 30 years ago when all my friends were buying Mcmansions in New Jersey I stayed in the New York area and bought a Town Home. Still in that townhome (which I just did a lot of work to) and still love the style of my house. Don't see myself ever wanting to leave. If I do I can't come back because I could never afford one in this area today. I bought at the market low which was pure luck, but boy did that work out well.

Then over the age of 70 I'd start renting certain levels out for a very low price to the 'help' for very cheap (my personal health care giver, housekeeper, holistic chef) this townhouse would be my literal sanctuary, I'd create an atmosphere(garden that grows life preservering herbs all types of energy saving, low carbon emitting, non toxic methods of living ) that would assist in helping the earth and helping me to live for as long & as healthy as possible without leaving a carbon footprint I would rarely leave the block😄🙃
