@@brentfarvors192 Anyone can file anything. It's just that knowledge and routine (plus the ability to write it off as business expenses) allows us to have a much lower bar to decide doing it. If I was some shmuck making minimum wage, a 328 fee plus lawyer costs would be a huge burden. As it's now you just clear half an hour in your schedule, type it up, send it, taxes mean the fee is essentially cut in half on a net level and no lawyer needed. The downside is you can't file frivolously. You know your stuff, judges are going to rain hellfire on you if you file a meritless harassive case against anyone. We had that with a lawyer I deliberately indirectly insulted in a report calling a group he's in to be basically lawbreakers trying to alledge our client broke a rule and that being ridiculous. (worked like a charm, he was so upset he failed to make his case, and lost) He filed a defamation suit even though he knew he couldn't win (it was a factually correct allegation and part of the proceedings at the time) and the judge ended up slapping him with full compensation of our worked hours. Normally you get a partial repayment of legal fees if you win, and no hours worked compensated, so that is a beatdown.

It is not up to the tow driver to check to registration if he got a call from the property manager or management office and was told to tow it he is just doing his job by the ppl that hired him she may have valid registration and she can try and sue him all she wants but she would end up having to pay for what ever time he misses from work cuz its not his job to check or the property managers job they stickered the car all she had to do was call or go to the office and say something plus how do we even know that was the reason for the tow maybe it's being towed cuz the car doesn't have a permit to park there
