Cars are not stolen left and right in my city. It's very hard to find any large city nowadays that does not have crime and violence statistics that have skyrocketed in the last 2-3 years. Appreciate the videos Johnny, stay safe.

Not a terrible part of town. Plenty of shops to hop into and wait for a ride. Hopefully it’s a good learning experience and she will put some priority on paying for her insurance and registration. I’m glad it went down like this and not with her in an accident with no insurance.

Strange takeaway from this second channel, but I am impressed at how polite, friendly, and efficient the Atlanta cops are. They said "please" and "thank you" to that girl and were extra-conscientious to make sure she knew where her car was going and to warn her about accumulating more impound fees. They reminded her to get everything she needed from her car. They have impressed me in all the TowTV episodes. As a sidebar, you are going to be towing more and more uninsured cars. Rates are skyrocketing. In the last 2 years, my same coverage has gone from $600/six months to $1700/six months. (No claims) Not surprising when South Main Auto showed us a broken taillight runs over $5000 on some cars. Just for the part, no labor. The auto industry adds a $1000 "DOC" or "marketing" fee to a dollar bill.

Personally, I am happy that Georgia insists that cars be towed off the street if the owners don't have insurance. Every state should do the same thing.

Something to help you in the future....when they steal your ride because of a some infraction, hit them with a rental fee......$ 1.99 a minute to rent your property under certain terms and conditions just like Hertz rental does. Hertz rentals win in court all the time with that stuff. So can you.

For locked older GM car steering columns, you smack the bottom of the steering wheel with the palm of one hand while turning the wheel with the other. You can straigten out the wheel. Another way is jamming a flat head into the gap between the top of the steering wheel and the column. There's a button on a spring inside and pressing will unlock the wheel.

My old neighbor used to have an old car that looked just like that! It barely fit in his garage! If you were off half an inch the garage door wouldn’t close so he had a tennis ball strung from the ceiling so he knew exactly when to stop! Stay safe Johnny!
