In Az. if you don't have insurance on your vehicle they will suspend your registration but they will not tow it and this will not stop a person from driving!

Irresponsibility knows no color or language, in my experience. ​@realbhopwood in CA they just suspended reg, too. Many folks buy 6-mo. term insurance on monthly payments, then stiff the bill on month 2. TONS of folks rolling dirty with no actual insurance in effect but a paper saying they do... Uninsured motorist coverage has paid for itself for me at least twice.

Live in a Section 8 apartment, shop at secondhand clothing stores, eat outta the food pantry and EBT, try not to get sick... stiff your bills on the regular or make minimum payments... And roll a $150k ride to keep up appearances. Figure you don't gotta pay reg or insurance since the cops "never pull over high-end cars"

In the U.K, they are the most stolen car at the moment. Because of that, insurance has gone through the roof. Up to £5000. So nobody can afford to insure them any more.

Don't know how it is in Atlanta but here in Ontario Canada if you get caught driving with no insurance you will be paying a hefty premium if you can find a company that will be willing to cover you 😯🇨🇦

Maybe have insurance at time of purchase and drop it/stop paying for it a couple/few months after. How would lender know?

Lien holders are notified by insurance company. But most of these Kepler don’t care. They just drove around trying to an avoid the repo.

Lots of states have databases that insurance companies update daily. Your policy expires-the state knows and financial institutions get that information also.

My insurance company told me that in our state NC there are 1 out of every 6 cars have no insurance. Our insurance rates are going up again this year due to uninsured motorists. Local Law Enforcement stop doing check points for driving drunk ,no operator license because there are so many illegal immigrants driving that should not . They say it's targeting the illegals. 😢

Looked it up. No insurance can cost you big. Thousands in fines, suspened licensce, car impounded, Jail time, higher premiums in future (public auto insurance). Not worth it. And of course no liabilty insurance. propety damage is on you. We have no fault insurance so you can't sue others for injuries if they have coverage but the insurance covers that part, IF you have yours. IF not, YOU are on the hook for costs. As it should be.

All that traffic, and near every single vehicle has just the driver inside.... most likely all complaining about everyone else on the road creating congestion. The most inefficient way to move people around "en masse", but everyone likes the convenience and so helping to create the congestion, making it inconvenient..... we really are pretty dumb.
