Oh my goodness, this is the second time in a week that I found a great team and then a day or two later you made a video about it. A few days ago I was killing it with Dragonair on the lead. Then suddenly everyone had ice and fairy on every lead. I go to KZbin and there's your Dragon video. So, I switched to Toxapex on lead and did great with that for the past couple days. Now here's the Toxapex video, lol. I'm taking it as a good sign that i'm learning.

I love toxapex too and I had it on a team earlier in the season. I ran an ABB line with toxapex as the safe swap to draw out the mud boi and then lantern in the back to roam free. It did okay. The problem with toxapex is that its so bulky that if you buffed brine or gave it another good move the thing would be really op.

Hey Dan, I liked the little blurb you mentioned when you tried to time the one fast move from dragonair, and you mentioned the even ones for this case. Maybe on future videos you can mention or show the optimal fast move? That is something so hard to memorize. Great content thanks

I’d LOVE to see Tox get Scald or Sludge Bomb - Acid Spray would be insane but not sure if that would make it TOO OP.

I had a lot of success with Toxapex, Licki, and Swampert last season. Probably need to change up the SS this season since Cress is a bit more common, but it was definitely a strong team.

Araquanid can learn Surf, Liquidation, Hydro Pump as charged move, but I would add Waterfall as a fast move before new charge move

Toxapex would be so OP if it had a good water charge move. It’s bulk is crazy. That’s why brine is so bad

Happy New Year Dan. If you're planning to shield Poliwrath's first Icy Wind, why not CMP them on the 7th counter? I'm playing D'nair this season and every single Poli goes (predictably) straight for the IW. Also, I submitted a Great League team about a week ago that I thought would be pretty fun.

I got to ace with toxapex swampert at the start of the season. Toxapex with its current matchup spread is basically a better skarmory. Especially when theres a lot of fire types.

I used something like that party but with Whiscash instead of Swampert and Sableye instead of Dragonair as a safe swap (although I used to have Swampert before Whiscash got scald)

I run a attack toxapex 6/0/13 and if a lanturn comes in with me having an energy lead and doesn't shield the sludge wave I can easily 1 shield and farm down. I dream of the day I don't have to run brine.

I couldn't agree more. I've been running Trevenant, Toxapex, and Umbreon and have done well but Toxapex just doesn't have the moves to hit hard. Brine is such a terrible move and Sludge Wave takes so long

Toxapex has been riding that edge for so long. Surf would certainly go a long way to making it better. If not sludge bomb which I think charges faster?

It can learn Hex in MSG for example. I would just add Liquidation or Surf to its movepool instead of doing something with the fast move.

I honestly feel like Toxapex CAN'T have better moves. It would be too good. Also, I want Hydro Cannon to either cost more energy or do less damage. It's broken AF. I hate Swampert so much. EDIT: Oh my gosh, 31-14?! There you go.

Only goes up to 25-20 with Liquidation. (Also picks up 3 more wins in 2 shield vs with Brine.) I feel like they could either slightly buff Brine or give it Liquidation and it wouldn't break the meta.

Can only learn Hydro Pump, Liquidation, Surf and Water Pulse in MSG. Never know how they think to implemented it in Pokemon Go

Brine should be Same energy and damage as Aerial Ace.
