Been a casisdead fan for the longest now,back to my teenage years and now I'm 33. He released a album recently on XL RECORDINGS entitled FAMOUS LAST WORDS. The last track features Neil tennant from the petshop boys and it's the lyrics on this that have got people questioning cas's health . Me and a pal done a listening party when it dropped and we both looked at eachother pale as ghost looking like we wanted to cry or some shit... So deep and so layered CAS really is a artist.

CASISIDEAD is a true UK great, not out here for the fame or glamour of being mainstream. Make music for himself. Raps what he lives, his older stuff for example the album 23 is from when he was outside and nowadays his tunes seem a lot more mellow and he has sort of an old fashioned feel to some of his music/videos as if he’s reminiscing on things. I’d truly recommend cas - charlotte to get a gist of how dark some of his music/videos got

Oh hell yeah! We need more Cas! Try out “A spark” from the same album. He does super 80’s future inspired stuff with the hardest lyrics you’ll ever hear. This track is more pop than he usually does. Honestly Cas is one of the most underrated uk lyricists along with Chester P. If you want a track with a music video then check out “Leon best” or “the grid” or “park assist feat. La roux”

Casisdead used to go under the moniker of Castro Saint. He was in a motorcycle accident where he was seriously injured, possibly temporarily died. Came back as Casisdead with a very different sound and a long and arduous artistic arc. You'll learn more about casisdead by listening to his music than anything else tbh.

I understand you will have countless suggestions for reactions but if you do try Cas again, which I really hope you will, can I suggest a few?.... The toaster in the bath thing is more of an ironic saying in a way? i heard it came from Australian prisoner, mark Chopper Read years ago. He advised a prisoner on how to kill his wife, run her a bath rose petals bottle of wine or 2 go all out, then when she's drunk in the bath throw a plugged in hairdryer in, the guy got released and was back inside about 2 weeks later Chopper asked him what went wrong, he didn't have a hairdryer so used a toaster, the cops didn't believe she was making toast in the bath 😂
