I saw this comic cover illustration of Harley and the thought of using it as the background of a Toxic cover popped into my mind out of nowhere like a shart. Amazing.
Also, some of you may have noticed i'm only uploading once a month instead of my usual once every week. I've found that this pace suits me more, due to burnout. I'm happier with the way my music comes out now as I rush less and I can have more fun with it instead of stressing about deadlines!

How has no one commented about that 'Harley' is obviously singing about kissing Poison Ivy? Like, it's so absolutely poetic in the simplest of ways and I'm 100% here for it. Besides that, absolutely amazing cover that I could easily listen to on repeat a 100 times (and I think I'm about 1/4th of the way there already)

Listening to this cover just made me realize despite the fact Poison Ivy is literally poisonous her relationship with Harley is actually healthy. Meanwhile Harley's relationship with Joker was the definition of a toxic relationship. Whoever came up with the idea of Harley x Ivy was a genius. Also this was definitely played at Harleen and Pamela's wedding.

Honestly so ambiguous considering the wording of them just being friends in a lot of their initial meet cutes in comics and media. So whoever is the initial creator of this dynamic is hard to say. Though I guess whoever introduced them and allowed them to bloom, it's always Paul Dini and Bruce Timm.

Fun fact: Pamela gave Harley an antidote to gain immunity to virtually any toxin after the Joker poisoned Harley. Not only did this make her gain immunity to any toxin, it also made her much closer to Pamela, having physical contact without suffering ill effects. I love them so much! They are so cute!
