That's part of the reason I don't play online games. Sure, it can be fun rp with friends but they take it too seriously and the grind is atrocious.
@777CHEKIST7772 ай бұрын
I want to tell you. In fact, people who take builds and role distribution so seriously are average players with mediocre reflexes and understanding of mechanics, who compensate for this by metagaming and repeating tactics that they themselves did not develop. I have always avoided them, first reflexively, and later intentionally. Top-level players play quite relaxed, straining themselves in rare moments, but it is precisely thanks to such tense moments that your skill grows. If you grind without fun, your skills do not grow and such players fail out of the blue, because they approach the task mechanically, without using their brain, but only muscle memory. Remember, the danger of defeat is the best teacher.

This video perfectly demonstrates one of the reasons why I stopped playing online. After a very tiring day at work, what most people just want to do is, find a way to destress and relax so that they can repeat things on the next day, since most types of work are just tedious or pretty monotone, but then some people who have too much time on their hands, instead of trying to help other people out, they mostly resort to harassing or bullying people who don't have as much time as them, and then for those that play any games with microtransactions or gacha elements, you have to deal with the same harassment and bullying, and on top of that you also have to feel like a plebian, because these people are 100% pay to win and they drop hundreds of dollars just to make themselves "META", its just not worth it to deal with this kind of stuff anymore, that's why I stick to solo games and occasionally play a COOP game with some friends.

I have a Minecraft server with my friend. We have Ram Ranch where I'm allowed to save any animals and he's not allowed to kill them. I'm not allowed to rescue his farm animals under the base. I build the roads, he kills the monsters. I mine the crap, he builds the mine rails. I absolutely love not playing with randos anymore. I was so heavy into WoW that I didn't even realize how bad it was until I debated paying for an extra seat to take my computer with me to my internship and paying $300 a month for Internet at a place I didn't own. And I didn't realize how bad the players were until I didn't have someone constantly killing me or screaming at me or I just didn't flinch. I literally haven't logged in since.
