If you wait a few days she will heal naturally. So As you can she her posture has changed...not holding her arm. She doesnt do anything but need to find her in order to upgrade the SUV. Bike wheel serves no purpose yet except to drive people nuts trying to figure out what they are for. Prob future item thing. Little tip...when trading with crash guys, when you see clothing 1/1...that is what you are wearing...so dont trade away your currently equipped stuff. Need to remember, its one dev, if he gets busy adding loot, then poi's get delayed, if he does the poi's the bugs get delayed and so on. I think he's doing a good job. Just needs to be let alone to work his magic.

Dont know...am on day 64 and have not had a crash since day 29 and never trade with them...always have crap. Be nice if traded for stuff that is in very limited supply or items that can only be gotten through trade. Did trade a few times just see what happens and stuff but used ammo i wasnt using and cigs. Water at one point was also good for trades. If I ever see one again..see what stuff is best.

LOL...my mother loves birds as well...cardinals are her favorite. She also has graced her home with TWO of those beautiful clocks that makes her happy one in her tea room and one in the kitchen of all places. I don't mind them too much BUT...when the batteries are almost dead, those sweet sounding bird chirps sound like something evil. Not sure if your mom's clock does the same..hope not. Bought my mom stacks of batteries in hopes of avoiding the calming sounds of birds from hell.🤣

I just thought I would add...Found a new bandit camp that was added......bring ammo :) Call up map...go east to the cluster of buildings...it JUST northeast of the larger rectangle one :) New item as well!!! Also found a second new area :) down past the bandit camp road block...pass through and stay left , go down a little and venture in the woods to the left near the blue house :)

If I am right ..put healing items on the try next to bed.blood bag on hook next to bed (healing bad). She may need a weapon and ammo. Also look into building her a house for her to rest etc. In. It may come with a locker for her tools! Great series!

Animal despawn so harvest them before you sign off. It's happend to me plenty of times with killed wolf's. There are two doors in the town close to your base, up stairs in the red building with the green mist thats not opening with crowbar, haven't tried picklocks. The bandits are back at the road block. The massive barn on the outside of the town with them things walking around protecting it, not worth the work yet I think, you can't kill the nest in side. Good game man keep you the good fight against the zombies.

I did oppen both of tose doors and it took me a lot of trys to do it - there a problem with them before in video i wached last year and it may have something to do with respowning loot

Great episode GE!! You had me rolling, not sure if this has happened to anyone else but I had my truck in the barn got in and the screen went crazy. So I jumped out of the truck and now I have 2. So it duplicated the truck.

Those filters go fast, I would be doing the same pressing the incorrect key's to, that has got me killed in loads of games, even if I try and keep the key settings the same on each game which is not always possible, enjoying the series 😁.

I get why the dev added carrying weight to the game, and introduced the carts to counteract it, but I still think when expanding the backpack, there should be a small increase in carrying weight, even 1-2kg per upgrade would be good.

Seems the dev want's to keep the game slight realistic so 40kg is a pretty heavy load and getting more space doesn't equal your physical limits improving. Instead the dev could think of a wellness/fitness system(depending on how you eat, sleep and exhaust yourself) to get a positive bonus % when you are in great condition and negative when you don't take care of yourself. You could argue that the start carrying weight could be lower and by improving the "quality of the bag" you would gain 1-2kg per upgrade, but if the game wants to stay semi realistic in the numbers then 50+kg is a pretty heavy load to run with(yes a leaf taking the same space as a plank already breaks it a bit and yes I did walk 5km on a loose sand forest road in the army with 120kg+ so its not impossible to hit 52kg or 64kg and still run if the load is well distributed). Carts is a great way to improve the game and still stay on the realistic side(not like a game that allows you to carry 100 trees in your inventory). In my opinion logs should force you to carry them in your hands and not in the backpack like the animals. This is only my opinion and we do have soooo many games that really shatters the reality and instead forces you to use 10 times more resources to counter the "hoarding ability".

@@amadeuz8161 you made some really fair points, and I'm not disagreeing with you on those points, the problem I found is that the items you ended up needing the most of (scraps, ores, wood) are all on the heavier side. Yes, you can use the cart to move them around, but with the weight limit, I often found I can't utilise all the extra slots because I'm already on maximum weight. That makes the bag expansion much less useful after a certain point. Of course, the dev can take whatever path they want to take in regards to carrying weight, and a skill perk is definitely a good suggestion, but it'll probably require a bigger change to the game mechanics than the alternatives. At the end of the day, it all comes down to balancing I guess

I made the healing station first and then rescued her. When I got back to base she walked directly from the truck to the healing station and laid down. I checked the chart at the end of the bed and it showed two things. One was if I decided to do nothing to her she would take 2 days to recover. Or if I decided to administer some meds and a bandage her recovery time would be considerably less. So I'm guessing for now you might not have to build the healing station if you don't mind waiting. I chose to heal her but she still looked like she was injured. Hopefully the dev will put that on his to do list.

Make a kill box outside GE. The Infected lot give a lot of things. And carry a chair / stool with you. 1-2 minutes of sitting brings your stamina way up.

I've done this in a few places already lol... been doing it from the start. Another way is to build 2 big gates and 5 small fences, then you can open them, let enemies in, close, kill, loot and open again lol. You're welcome

Maybe you should go and find the compound bow in the bandit church bud,it's so much better! And yeah the backpack upgrades are respawning which is a bit naff.Loot starts repawning around day ten,so not really any need to use the loot respawn button.

The sawmill would be a great place to build a base. The walls around it means that you can build just the gates at the entrances and you have lots of space to build in and buildings to put storage in.

bed is a bit bugged. I tried healing a survivor inside a house and it always floated above the bed, no interaction possible. Built a second station outside, worked immediately. But having to actively heal for 3 days straight to get them on their feet again is painful... I watched some youtube videos while waiting...

I was watching "Learned Journeyman" last night (who says he watches you and Kage 848 as well), and I watched him take an axe to the loot cars and was getting scrap from the doors. Thought you might like to know (if you didn't already). And I haven't been playing this game very long, and not until this most recent big update, but isn't there something in the base menu about permissions for the survivors to use your base? I haven't really looked at it, but maybe that's why she isn't doing anything?? Or maybe I'm just too new and completely wrong about that.

If you go over to the bus area in the hunting area you can get another survivor. I went there and there was no enemies there. It is a soldier that will cut tress down for logs.

i think the weight should increase for every slot like it is 40 at base slots so divide 40 by base slots then add that for each new slot you get or let you train or use points to increase carry weight ie get stronger as you survive

Currently, the survivors cannot be killed or fed with food/water, once they "heal" they have infinite health. Jiyeon is employed as a mechanic in the Tuning Garage building. She will primarily do the tasks there. I don't think the Survivor functions are fully implemented yet. I remember seeing a horde attack Jiyeon during the mist event, and she just stood there while I picked them off from a watch tower. Hope that helps. Edit: She will work in other areas that you can assign AI for a task, but she walks over to the Tuning Garage and works there primarily. Edit 2: Its actually worse that she healed because I would use her as a beacon for the mist event so that the AI crowd around her. But you cant carry her once shes healed, so thats over with.

Being invincible is a must IMO. There should be an option for it or a command console to fix NPCs and bugs. Or an 'essential NPCs' option in the gameplay menu so everyone can choose what they want.

That lumber yard looks like it would be a great place to make a base and because you can get up on a couple of the roofs via of the stacks of boards and logs etc. Using sections of the walls and fences would make interesting safe spaces . Is it able to be a base?

I'm following the dev, he's noting bugs to the left and the right, then throwing out updates every couple of days. He's doing better now, than before. I think he got this, he even "sorted" out some of the lag in Old Town suburbs and another area, and the rest will be fixed later. There will even be an aiming point for the bow soon, but this one I really want. I loved the bow in the old version. The game from first launch, this map, he has improved a lot already. Go to the Steam Forums and report any funny bugs you see.

@GameEdged at the white house in timestamp 29:23 if you go inside the gated part which is located on the left of the house and look around behind the trash pile you should see a sledge hammer, which you can then use on cars you have already looted took fuel from for additional loot.

Seems pretty obvious that you first build the "medbay" and then have to stock it up with stuff you'd actually use to heal people, maybe two different types of things required for everything or maybe for two different levels of hurt, there is a reasonable chance you already have everything you need, but it seems you never actually even bothered to check what it is you need either when it said "craft build" or "enter door". But i'd do that asap since then you can probably heal her and put her to work. And in due time i expect the survivors to be able to defend themselves and you'd have to provide food and water, but you might also be able to set different tasks for them to keep going, like supplying the water distillery and or cooking etc. Shoudl be able to eventually. Probably also for building stuff, as long as the supplies are in your base maybe. Gonna take some time and work to implement that though.

If want to trade to the person you save, you have to watch out for the value in the bottom middle, value not enough, you can't press deal. Is better to collect more cigarette that you don't use and trade to the person you save.

Definitely better to have too little loot than too much. Some games would be great if they cut some of the loot down. Northern Lights is a good example. The updates have fixed some of it, but there is entirely too much food available in that game. Just give us enough to survive until we can get to a point where we are self sufficient.

Who said that picture was art? Maybe it was a family portrait... 🤔 I've been enjoying this season until this episode. This episode really made me think that it might be better to wait for the game to get further along instead of getting frustrated by the food imbalance, broken stations, disappearing items, malfunctioning NPCs, etc. I can deal with graphical issues, but non functioning mechanics and stuff that literally makes the game less fun to play makes me feel like this episode could give people a bad impression of the game.
