I started to follow you this league and I've been able to make a monster build on my own inspired by your clarity set up. I dropped TR over a week ago because I really didnt think Id be able to push the build into comfy T17s on a realistic budget.. so this is pretty cool.. I got ~200 div to play with so now Im torn between buying a Mageblood AND Nimis and throwing it on my FB trickster, OR dumping it all back on TR PF which doesnt need either of those items.

do you have any version for 3.25? I've made a ballista version, but now in endgame i feel like i'm laking a bit of survivability on T17. I can clear them, but not with ease, needs to respect.

We made a 3.25 update before the league launched (kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGjIpKh3mr6Vas0), but haven't touched it yet. It's good, and still very fast, but not the powerhouse it once was.

this build was super fun. but honestly the investment to get higher dmg was kinda off putting, i got to around 9m dps and 41k ehp with pretty minor investment (bow, occupying force flame flesh, and pretty decent tides), but trying to get more dmg was way too expensive for how much i would be getting (upgrades like quiver, amulet, progenesis, pact jewel, instinct, awakened gems to hit a dps ceiling of 16-18m dps and 70-80k ehp). So about 200 div on the low end to get about 8m dps and 30k ehp sounds not great. that being said TR was probably the smoothest leveling ive had, granted ive only played two leagues including this one, and for my first build i did bane/blight which was. well it was bad. so i kinda just switched to poison forbidden rite PF and for about like 15-17 div (bulk of it was in the 6L +2 doppleganger guise, mahuxotls, replica FR dragonflight, and a 1 div +2 shitty wand) i got a pretty nice build going. 16m dps, 91k ehp without progenesis and lots of room to improve with a better return on dps per div spent through jewels, better ring, progenesis, awakened gems, and a much better wand (mine right now literally just has cast speed and +2 to gem levels and thats it. I would get about 20m more dps and 50-60k more ehp for about the same 200 div i would spend other wise.

The WH builds you see avoiding duration are likely using the adorned jewel to stack obscene amounts of DoT multi.. Duration is insane on paper but grossly overrated in practice.. especially for non-ballista builds where you're likely having to dodge while the boss is standing still. The reason you take it is because adorned scaling requires mirrors of investment and getting a shitload of duration only costs a handful of passive points.. passives for TR focused widowhail build on super high investment will look almost identical to a CA passive tree.

Mainly just by only using Flame Dash when needed to dodge. Having Withering Step constantly chew up one charge means you only have 1-2 Flash Dash CD's to play with, but that's fine. It generally hasn't been an issue.

Yup, TR PF is a tried-and-true HCSSF build. Not the top of the meta right now, that's Detonate Dead because its base damage is absolutely insane, but TR PF is ol' reliable for a lot of HCSSF players, too!

Yup! Not really. Necropolis crafting can help with getting good bases easier, or maybe you can luck into some good crafts, but there's nothing mandatory from it.

Mostly CA while mapping, with TR just to kill big tanky boys, and mostly just TR against bosses, but occasionally throwing out a CA when forced to move by mechanics.

@@IdoAm you want to maximize the dmg of TR for bosses/uniques/rares since they have a lot life. CA is for clear since has more AOE and most mob in maps has lower life.

@@danieleshow5939 What I did is copy his POB and import your gear/skills/tree and look again. There is a lot of important stuff in Config like #of Spore Pods (5) and Withered Stacks (15) if you feel confident reaching 15 stacks. Skill Effect Duration boosts Damage significantly so make sure you have the Amulet Annoint, though high dps with high Skill Effect Duration is only really applicable on stationary targets. And make sure to compare how the dps of Toxic Rain is calculated. Doing "half of his build" doesn't reflect half of the dps if you are missing critical increases like dot multi and skill effect duration which scale non-linear

@@Neit092 I’m already past half build, but what I mean is that I’m sure there are some configs I have missed while setting my pob, I’m lvl 98 and almost all the jewels he use(I’m missing like a few) and the only gear I’m missing is the belt + pro genesis.

Confused as to why you can't use a normal CA setup with mana? I run 6L TR and CA and then have a 4L manaforged for withering, frenzy and culling. I also went through hell alt rolling an agate amulet - 7k+ alts and many augs used with no luck. Eventually just bought a focused amulet and had a lot more success rolling a +4, took me about an hour and less than 1k chaos :D Then I discovered that it also increases the mana reservation of clarity and now I need another mana reservation implicit on an adorned jewel to run 3 50% auras, good times.

Honestly, that would work. Feels bad to be running mana and not make full use of MA tech, but if it's slamming, it's slamming!

@Path: regarding gathering winds, does it increase attack and movement speed or something else? A bit confused from the info out there how it works. Was wondering if its a good to chase next to increase damage on TR. Since just got progenesis and using defiance amulet so defence is there but damage on bosses feels a bit low still. Got the unnatural instinct with 5% area and trying to grab Perendus pact jewel now to fix area further. Currently at 34% so perendus will get to me to that magic 39% (will that 34 to 39% area increase TR single target damage much? (looted a Hine Lock while farming 8mob maps, hello 40div and early progenesis!!) League highlight after Brothers gift from 1st cemetery atlas clear XD.

It increases Action Speed, which is different, but related to attack and move speed. It's not necessary, but it does feel great, and it's a pretty fun chase unique set.

The original version of the build (in the description as League Start PoB) has a section for MB that will work better for a MB setup. With that being said, Tides of Time is undeniably better. Sorry Mageblood, you've been dethroned.

The only real downside to a min-maxed Adorned setup is the cost, so if you're up and running with that already, you're probably good. Worth comparing the difference in damage in PoB just to see, but if you're not having any problems, you're in good shape!

Why is it important to use - 9 mana cost when you have eldritch battery which uses es.?

You don't need - mana cost everywhere, but you will need a little or your TR will cost so much that it outspends your ES recovery. This is why you want a little bit of leftover unreserved mana, so that if you cast TR for a long time, you eventually get to double-dip on both ES and mana regen.

If it doesn't transform full with 100% to es I understand and also why u have the -9 mana cost crafts on your rings. Because I also have problems with energy shield cost. I only have 350 es cause of an evasion intelligence hybrid helmet with lower Es so everything that helps with es costs is fine
