Thanks to you guys for all of your hard work and time spent on making all the videos on broadheads. Very much appreciated! Being a broadhead junky, I gave the Toxics a try just to see what would happen. I have shot 2 deer with these and my results were phenomenal. My second score was earlier this year on a huge doe. 65 lb bow and Gold Tip Kinetic Kaos arrow. The shot was 35 yards, the broadhead entered the left scapula ridge and exited dead center of the right leg bone. I wasn't trying for all that bone by the way. The arrows fletching got hung up in the leg bone on exit. I was shocked quite frankly on the penetration. I did sharpen the broadhead before with some tightly rolled 1200 grit sandpaper so it was razor sharp. The deer ran a total of 30 yards. The damage it did was crazy! One set of blades got a little damaged and flared out. The toxic is beveled on one side only and designed to flare outward. They are definitely worth using, they simply work and work well. They fly like lasers out of all my bows and exactly like all my other heads. I also have the Pharmakons ready to go this weekend. They fly very well too. Hopefully, I will connect on another deer and can reply back with positive news but admittedly, it's hard not using the Toxic. I have also had GREAT success with their Cyclone cousins the past few seasons. The heads may look weird, but they are just outright killers!!! Thanks again for all you guys put into these tests.

I wanted to recommend to you guys to try out the crimson talon G2 broad head with the twisted blades they just came out with a new design this past year and they say it guides the blades with the twist of them and that they cork screw all the way threw the animal they say there field point accuracy love to see your opinion

I shot the toxic for 2 seasons. Back around 2014 2015. I quit using them because of their low accuracy. One shot would be dead on one would be 6" right next one 6" high. You couldn't bow tune or arrow tune them to be accurate.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Жыл бұрын
I could see that as an issue with that design it better be damn near perfect between all 3 plus wind could be a huge issue

Thanks man my biggest fear is how thin the blades are, they look like they’d bust up on a shoulder or even ribs shot, I’ll be breaking out the car hood test again to really see what these Broadheads can stand up to

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA there is a video of the toxic being used on a moose at like 10 yds here on youtube....barely penetrated the shoulder....got the kill and had a good blood trail, but meh!....seen better performance with other heads.

I was gonna say they are to small to hunt with in your state, I just don’t know about the durability of them, the design puts a lot of stress on those thin blades

I use the first gen Toxic. I shot a buck with one last season. It left a HUGE blood trail. I had spots of blood twice the size of my boot, and I wear size 13s. I use them on 20" bolts shooting from a Barnett Jackal crossbow. They work a lot better on crossbows for some reason. I can accurately hit my mark 25 yards away with them. A friend of mine agrees with you about them, but he has never used them with a cross bow.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA2 жыл бұрын
Hey if they work for you brother that’s all we care about love hearing they treat ya right!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
@boostimalaka12 жыл бұрын
Did you experience a major adjustment was necessary to the scope when using field tips with a Crossbow. I am using a Barnett Crossbow at 375 F.P.S. Seems they shoot a little low to the left. Definitely a better choice than using the Rage which was disappointing never opened on impact. The Toxic leaves a nice opening on impact for blood to spill out. A neat design.

I've seen three deer personally shot w them. Wasn't impressed. One of the two snapped the blades off two sides catching the bottom edge of a shoulder blade. Was w a 175 lb crossbow ill admit
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA3 жыл бұрын
That is what I was worried about, I know a guy that tried em and the blades broke off inside the deer, that is the ultimate nightmare
@jdibben293 жыл бұрын
Ya I wasn't amused either. Especially when I walked up on it about three hours later and had too put another one in it. He got one of them blades stuck in the back of his hand while gutting it

That’s my biggest fear, and that is exactly why blade strength is important and why I test the blades to the extreme because of that reason there

Small cut dang dude they punch holes in foxes clean through a fox and leaves like a 50cent coin size
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA2 жыл бұрын
7/8th’s cut is not a big cut actually in some states that size cut isn’t even a legal Broadhead to take afield for that reason

Shot a mule deer buck at 72 yards. Flew true the deer only made it 20 yards and I watched him die. Heaviest blood trail I’ve ever seen. It was in Idaho so I had to shoot fixed. If not for that it would be grim reaper expandable.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA3 жыл бұрын
Which head?
@hunteradamson50243 жыл бұрын
It was the pharmakon on the deer in Idaho. They literally make tubes of meat when they go through a heart. It was brutal. My favorite grim reaper is the 1-3/8 pro series.

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA he uses traditional during or for deer and compound for turkey. So I’m thinking that’s why. He’s around 65 so I think he enjoys different archery sets.he uses a long bow for elk too with heavy wood arrows which he has actually killed a few.
