Loading with 8's I'm sure is just a selling point because all you need is 9's since they are lethal at 70+ yards...Even the 10's are lethal at 50 or 60 I think.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA8 сағат бұрын
Should watch our ballistic tests with tss shot sizes … definitely would not be shooting 10’s at 50-60 yards personally based on what I’ve seen in testing 8’s will generally have a better pattern at 60 than 9’s due to how 8’s pattern so the selling point would be it helps to fit what they claim on their box like I went over in the video

I heard they'll have .410, 28, and 20 as well... Mass produced TSS at handload pricing. That said, I know how they test and produce their shells, and it's the best of the Bigs. And, they didn't sell out to war mongering Czechs...

They actually had the extended range before the longboard xr
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA20 сағат бұрын
This is true but the Longbeard XR was the first shell they promoted the long range pattern performance from my understanding
@erinjackson666316 сағат бұрын
Jake look at the Winchester elite it was a hevi shot I still have a box of them and they killed farther then the longboard xr by far only on the market for about 2yrs ill send you a pic of them
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA13 сағат бұрын
@erinjackson6663 did they actually promote on the box that it was for long range? What I’m saying is on the LBXR box it is promoted longer range shooting
@Fall_Legends21 сағат бұрын
Thank you. I can't wait to try these out to see how they work out of my setup. I'm not a big fan of the price but I'm sure they are worth it I'm just cheap. I've been using Multiple Winchester ammo for my turkey loads for years and so far I have no reason to change it. I can't wait to see how they do at 60 yards but I'd wait for a little warmer and not as windy day to shoot it. I appreciate you braving the cold to share this with us and I know it was cold because I was out taking my Flintlock for a walk here in Pennsylvania the past few days and it was a bit chilly.

Now you mentioned TSS doesn’t care about the cold… but the powder and primers sure do, along with the pliability of plastics like the wad. I’d be curious to see if there are any difference in performance when it’s say 40-50° a temp that’s much more common during turkey seasons
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSAКүн бұрын
There isn’t we’ve done this for 4+ years now testing in the cold & warm there is no visual change in pattern performance
