what causes the bullet to launch from the shell? Is there a spring in each shell? How far does the rubber bullet travel? This does not use air like airsoft.

Yes, there's a spring in each shell, the 'bullet shell primer look-alike" is triggered by the gun hammer and releasing the soft bullet, it can shot up to 3-5 meters, this toy gun is not using air like airsoft toy gun ...

When its like normal can you drag the slide back im afraid it cant and i dont want to risk it. I saw it on another video and he said he might have broken it becuase of dragging the slide back manully. Pls answer i really want to know!

U can't theres a chance that it might jam

Well, you can drag the slide but it could break the release lever from the gun, cuz it's made of plastic

Without pulling the trigger, the slide can be pull back by hand..

Hmm....I don't what to say, maybe the gun internal mechanism that trigger the bullet, or the bullet itself got problem...maybe de assemble it...and find the problem
