Thanks for the details like gas mileage, inverter size, and solar capacity. Do you know how many AmpHours of battery capacity he has and the type of batteries (e.g. AGM, flooded, lithium)? Note: microwave power ratings are the amount of watts of microwaves it generates to cook the food. The amount of wall power used to make that amount of microwaves is about 50% more - power usage is listed on all appliances. It typically takes around 1000 watts of wall power to produce 700 microwave-watts of cooking power.

great interview Robin.That's one huge horse trailer. Most people who have horses have a two horse trailer which is a fraction of the size of this one. Was this a 5th wheel or towed trailer? The batteries and propane bottles are stored below where he sleeps, I hope there's plenty of protection between them and his bedroom

Hey, Robin! I just wanted to say I really appreciate what you do, also. I'm wanting to do this over the road nomadic travel, as well. So your videos are excellent, educational, entertaining, and you are really creative and thought-provoking. I'm really interested in the communications side of things. Not just phone, which is a big part of it, but also data communications. I'm a licensed HAM Radio Operator, so I know about omnidirectional and directional antennas for radio and TV communications. But because cell phones are multi-point, tower-hopping systems at much higher frequencies, the points that factor into maintaining communications viability are quite different. Also with different data communications options available, whether satellite or cell phone, I'm wondering about prices, performance, and availability for travel. What gives the most reliable, effective, bang for your buck? Anyway, I'm glad to see this video in particular because I have been trying to figure out what kind of trailer might be the best way to go. It really sounds like a horse trailer might be a good option for me considering that I live in a rural, agricultural area and they should be available used quite readily.
