Very nice, I am rather disappointed, that I got the newer version which doesn’t have that air suction. I hope someday I’ll find the same exact model you have. I am though getting a doll house version of this, and I’m very curious how those little machines run?

I picked up one of the current models and was rather disappointed. The new ones do not have suction, and that rotary switch is just decoration - no change in speeds. It does run a fan and has a little holder with styofoam balls. The fan blows those around (kind of, static cling moves them more than the fan). I'd love to find the older model like in this video.

Theo Klein could have done one more thing to make the Toy Miele cleaner more realistic. Silence the motor in the toy machine then sample the vortex motor in a real Miele machine. make the adjustable "suction" dial a "pitch" control to make it sound like the speed of the motor is being varied, just like a real Miele machine. The speaker that reproduces the sound of the vortex motor could be mounted under the exhaust port to deliver the rushing sound of air at the same point on the canister.
