Toy Story 2 Walkthrough Level 11: Al's Penthouse 1/2

I quite like seeing the little model train attached to the ceiling of Al's bedroom but seeing the fact that the also sleeps in a bed that shaped like a train pretty much showcases how much of a man child he really is

Oh man, that train puzzle looks so difficult. You're basically trying to make the train go in a certain direction by controlling the switches right? Hmm, at least you got it :D

This is the easiest way to solve the train puzzle by getting the train to stop on the dead end track and getting the token. When you first come in only stomp on the swiches at 3:38-41 and at 6:44-48. Ignore the one at 3:24 and don't stomp on it at all. After that let the train go until it passes the box for the last time then push it to the bed. It took a while for me to figure it out.

@CrystalStarlight95 Yeah, each switch changes one piece of track (to make it switch lanes). If you're a logical person (Or lucky) you can do it in a matter of seconds. If you're not (Like me) it takes a while.

I never got to fully complete this level, mainly because I had no clue where I was going. Too bad this game didn't have a map for you to look at. Also, I was freaked out by a lot of the enemy toys that were there.

I somehow managed to finish the train puzzle in approx. 3 to 5 minutes. I haven't the foggiest idea how I did it though, just extremely lucky I suppose :)

Wanna know something funny about the train puzzle? You can skip it entirely. Just double jump past the high part of the top of the bed. I guarantee this works on the PSX version, at least.

@@DamnZtar Ringrush's "demonstration: toy story 2 100% in under an hour" displays it. The video in question is a low optimization TAS, so not everything is going to be easily replicable, but I believe that bit in particular isn't all too difficult.

@@DamnZtar Oh it's not a super difficult trick to pull off last time I checked, so you don't have to be a seasoned speedrunner to get it down. The video I sent you just happens to be a speedrun, is all.
