I bought two used Playtime Sheriff Woodys. The first one had a broken neck peg and exposed wires, while the other was practically destroyed. The first one I bought still had a working voice box though, so I gave it a Soft and Huggable Woody head and a new hat. The other I completely restored. So, I’m pretty happy with both of them. Now I’m hoping I find another one in mint condition. Maybe someday I’ll find one for a cheap price.

“Thank you for returning my hat. without my hat I'm lost.” and this is fact the Japanese version, is not voiced by Toshiaki Karasawa, who voices Woody in the films, but by the same voice actor who dubbed the Japanese version of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

Actually, I live in Japan and know a lot about Woody, but from 2009 to 2016, the figures made by Takara Tomy and Thinkway in partnership had voice boxes that spoke in Karasawa's voice, except for the Play Time.
