At 3:35 you can hear a very similar harmonic progression in “When she loved me” (kzbin.info/www/bejne/e53Lk4epgNilpdU). And maybe at 3:27 is some similar to the beginning and end of “You’ve got a friend in me” (kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5TSoIuMe6ZkeK8)

Remember being a kid, watching cartoons, not a care in the world and living your best life exploring and being curious. Spending time with your friends and family as a child couldn’t be any better. As an adult you remember all the great times you had as a child. Most of your friends have a family of their own, left you, or worse... you have a job, have many responsibilities to take care of and yet there is still a part of you that still wants to be a child. If you’re a child and you’re reading this... enjoy life while you’re young. Go explore, hang out with friends, because before you know it they could be gone the very next day. Thank you for your time❤️

Today I just sold some of my childhood toys.... it's never been easy to let them go. I literally cried right after putting them in box and sealed them for delivery. I ran to my room and listen to this song and the tears ran down at my cheek. They gave me a lot of imaginations and fun when I was a kid. I never really had a friend, but I have a lot of toys. These toys always cheer me up on my lonely childhood. But I grow up and it's a pain to see them laying down in boxes. So I decided to sell them and maybe they can find a better home, they can make someone else happy like me when I was a kid. Good bye my little friends..... :') Thanks for the childhood.

That moment when Andy freezes and Bonnie makes Woody wave goodbye shattered my heart. The animators perfectly captured the sadness of growing up in his eyes, his hesitation, his quiet 'Thanks, guys.' Woody's 'So long, partner.' in response hurt just as bad. He's spent so many years with Andy, all their memories are piling up and breaking his heart just as it broke mine. Bonnie may be Woody's owner, but Andy was his *partner* and a part of Woody will never forget that.

Born in 1990, I was 5 when I watched the first one. I fell in love with the characters right away. Second one came out in 1999, I was so glad to see Woody and his friends again (that was a very happy day) Eleven years later, in 2010, this master piece was released and I wasn't ready. Being 20 at the time I thought it would be simply just another happy story for the crew. Well... you guys know....the whole thing about growing up really got me. During several parts of the movie I cried my eyes out as did the rest of the audience. Now I'm 29. Life is way harder and more complex. Toy Story 4 dropped and Pixart did it again! When I was getting inside the cinema room, seeing all those grown ups (some wearing constumes haha) I coudn't help but think: "this is so cool... everybody is coming back to meet up with childhood friends after so long" For 1 hour and 40 minutes we could all be kids once more. This was a very happy day that made me think about my old toys and how they helped me grow to be the man I am today. Those were really good years Thanks guys

I was 21 at the time I saw this in the theater (I'm 27 now), and I have to say, it doesn't take much to get me to cry during a movie (aside from maybe Littlefoot's mother dying in The Land Before Time, or the end of E.T.), but I can admit that I started crying as I watched the last scene with Randy Newman's brilliant score in the background. I think it may have been around 4:13 (after Andy drives away and Woody says "so long, partner") that I just starting losing it. Giving up your childhood toys is never an easy thing. They were a big part of your life as a child and now you have to pass them on to another generation of children. It's always hard to do.

Buzz isnt stupid and both would have each other's backs no matter what so it was incredibly weird that several times, Buzz simply abandons Woody or doesn't help him at all. None of the toys spring into action either and are confined to the RV. The writers didn't get the characters at all.

“Toy Story 3” delivers a powerful message about how childhood can be relived at any time in our lives, regardless of age. The film shows how toys, which represent childhood imagination and innocence, begin to have a special place in people's hearts, even as they grow up. College-bound Andy revisits his connection with his toys, and this relationship symbolizes that childhood is not something we leave behind completely, but something we can access whenever we want. The final act of Andy giving his toys to Bonnie also demonstrates that by sharing this world of fantasy and memories, we keep childhood alive. The idea that imagination and affection for the objects that marked us remain relevant at any stage of life is one of the film's most moving touches.

Toy Story 3's theatrical release date of June 18, 2010 was timed perfectly for some people, like me. I was 17 back then and it was the last year of my childhood...I would step into adulthood one month later in July 2010, at the age of 18. Bro this is my last year of high school, and I’m so close to graduating high school and honestly I don’t really want to graduate due to me making friends, memories, and laughs. I will honestly miss my friends and everyone that I met along the way because school is something that we’ve known for 12 years and seeing that go is honestly kind of sad and this song reminds me of needing to move on from things you’ve liked

@@Squidwardpilled It's kinda funny reading my comment again. I failed math and chemistry so I didn't end up graduating last year and had to do my final year again, so I'm graduating next month. I met so many great friends this year, including some of the closest friends I've ever had. And the new class is great as well. I'm gonna cry even harder than I did last year

Toy story 3 with this soundtrack and the last scene when Andy say goodbye to his toys is touching to me. Whenever I feel blue, listening to this piano version can make my day. This soundtrack is perfect.

i remember seeing this movie in 2010 at the cinema. I was around 5 at the time, I think. It was a pretty fun experience. I got really scared at the incinerator part, but it was pretty good in terms of film-making. But what I really remember is the sniffles I heard during this particular scene, and then silence, and then the screen faded to black, and the credits started rolling, and then the whole audience cheered and clapped. It was great.

I've always wondered if Pixar and Disney do these things on purpose.... For most of us, movies like Finding Nemo, Toy Story 1, the Incredibles, etc, all came out during our Childhood. Toy Story 3 came out the year I graduated High School, when Toy Story 1 came out the year I started kinder. Disney knows the audience for this

Toy Story was released in 2010. 9 years later, I became a freshman. The way my lil sister said that I’m going to college reminds me how Moly said that too his big brother. This song got me so bad, I’m ugly crying and i tried not to believe that I’m going to college just like Andy. Never knew the day would come, and i felt the same just like Andy. When you knew you’re a grownup and no longer can play with your toys, but they kept every special memories of your childhood. I totally remember when this movie came out, i literally cried out loud to my parents that i want Jessie Doll. But look at her now, abandoned on my toy boxes. Just like that one scene from Toy Story 2. I’ve realized that a toy wouldn’t last long for us because we’re growing up everyday, but they will be the best part of our childhood.

A long time ago I, my brother and our cousins were really close. We spent our summer days running around in the grass trying to catch grasshoppers, and playing video games. And now we're all adults, and nothing's the same anymore (hasn't been for a long time actually). We're inevitably drifting apart, moving to different parts of the country to each start our own lives. And it's breaking my heart because there's nothing I can do to stop it. This song reminds me of all of that, of days long-lost, and I just want to cryb

Nothing tugs at my heart strings more than when Bonnie pushes the button on Buzz Lightyear and he says "To Infinity and Beyond!" in the EXACT same way as the original 1995 Buzz Lightyear action figure. That was my Buzz from my childhood that I gave away years ago, and I made it a mission to get it back after seeing this movie, which I did. And then everything else that follows that moment is just as much of a tear jerker. Even though there's a Toy Story 4 (which I will definitely go see), the third movie will always have such a bittersweet ending.

toy story 4 was such a bad idea. i was more pissed than excited when i heard it was confirmed. this was the perfect finale & pixar shouldve made it the last one. shorts & tv specials were fine but a fourth movie was a horrible & really stupid idea. the last shot of this was the clouds in the sky & thats the first movie’s very first shot. it was the perfect way 2 end it. i tried being a little open minded when i saw 4 but just a little. it was just ok but really unnecessary. one of the only good parts of it was seeing bonnies dad but it mostly sucked & 3 shouldve been the finale. how can she just forget about woody all of a sudden after toy story that time forgot? it was sooo outta character. she was all over him in that, toy story of terror & the toy story toons. they turned buzz in2 a dumbass who called his buttons his inner voice & listened 2 them too. he said in 3 whatever happened theyd all be 2gether then woody said 4 infinity & beyond & thats how it shouldve been

I personally consider this to be a reboot of the series, Toy Story 4 was the real ending for me because when you think about it, does Andy leaving, fix Woody's fear of losing the love of a child? No, both of them faced a fear in this movie, Andy faced his fear of letting go of his childhood in each movie and Woody faced his fear of becoming a lost and broken toy in the final movie. Both of them got their happy endings.
