Just played this. $2.00 per game. That's 0.666 per ball! But, it was worth it, IMO. Best game ever created.

I wonder if Spencer picked up on the spinner actually being a functional spinner. With it being able to read the position it stops on to determine different awards. That fact alone makes it more enjoyable than magnets in my opinion. Fun game, thanks for showing it off!
@GonzosPinballFlipperama2 жыл бұрын
To be fair he didn't know that. I found it really important to not spin that wheel when you had extra ball lit because it could be lost.

Extra ball is a good reward. It's up there with the Tiki Party, which is essentially a free multiball. I actually think the Unlimited Kickback is the best reward as the left outlane is hungry. That unassuming spinner does at a fun bit of strategy to the game. The whole game is unassuming. There is a lot there, but at a quick glance it looks pretty barren. From a solenoid count, it's got about double what a game like Godzilla does, but it certainly doesn't look like it would just by looking at it.

Hadn’t picked up on that. Thanks for the ‘heads up’. Literally my honest, first impression and first and second plays. I’m sure I missed a lot and that there is lots more to discover about this game.

A great, fun game!

Looks fun. I like the Toy Story franchise, my kids grew up with it, but I don't think it's a theme that would attract me in an arcade. Just glad it plays well and has enough fun shots in there. I wish more games gave an audio instruction. Those slings looked a bit soft compared to other modern games.

Yes i have to agree regarding the call-outs. I'm not a good enough player to look up at the screen so and vocal prompts are most welcome.

For me the biggest letdown ever in pinball.

Hi again Gonzo, loved the banter between the two of you in this episode. I hope I am not breaking any taboos but looking back through your videos I have not seen any reviews of a virtual pinball, is it you only keep to discussing and showing mechanical pins? Some of us do not have the space or funds for a stable of mechanical pins and are looking to very good quality virtual pins as an alternative to give us coverage across many tables in one package. I think the company I am buying from has shipped a few to the UK, would it be possible to do a review on them at all.? Again, sorry if this is a no go subject. Regards

Hi Chad, it's not that it's a no-go subject. I'm happy to do a video but I've never played a virtual machine or even seen one before.

@@GonzosPinballFlipperama Hi mate, I reached out to our virtual pin fan page to see if there is anyone local to you that was willing to share some time with you to show you a virtual pinball, but no takers so far sorry. D Dodd in the states does some great comparison youtube videos between mechanical and virtual tables if you want to have a look, this is one for the Creature from the Black Lagoon (real first, virtual second). this video only shows the table, not the full virtual machine kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJmYdauHlMZnhKs The latest build from where I am getting my virtual machine from can be seen in this video which shows the full machine and a few examples of the 1300 virtual tables that are available kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6DKZ6d4YrBqg8k The real heros in the virtual pinball space are the developers who put in hundreds of hours to recreate original tables into virtual tables 'Hope you and your mates are having fun at Pinfest and it hasn't turned to much into Pintfest yet :)

Great breakdown of this game. I wanted so badly to love it, and I do enjoy it but decided not to buy one. I think had they put something physically interactive in the upper left more people would like this game. That screen just takes up too much space. I'm not anti-screen on playfield but when I play this all I can think is man that screen is huge and I wish there was something physical there that I could interact with. A giant tablet does not = Toy Story to me. If anything it takes me out of it.

Only a decent game considering the price. The cake toppers remind me of Sterns Star Wars with the tie fighter on a spring.

I’ve got to agree. Looks like a cute pin, but should be at a similar price point to a Stern Pro.
