Why, why, why! I wish you lived down the street. I could make you the parts you need to keep you running and testing. This just needs to be refined to work the bugs out and have a solid working unit. Hopefully a CDI unit is available at some point. Would of expected Toyan to use a better thermoplastic. Something that has a higher melting point like Polyether Ether Ketone. Or something similar. Mayber an oversight on their part. They progress a bit but have these silly mistakes that make it hard to trust them again to deliver a steady and reliable motor.

You might be able to get some thin shims to tuck behind the piece that is wobbling and the metal piece that popped out of it ya might try plastic welding it into place if the piece wobbling is plastic!💯

Another great video as always Dennis. I am new to the world of miniature engines, I started with a H&M engine which I built, now I’m building the l400bgc. The one question I have is how to mount the hall sensor in the distributor. Any info would be appreciated.

Dennis need help I am trying to install a distributor ignition on the original Toyan l 400 I bought the distributor cap and cdi but need help on how you wired the spark plugs I don’t know the firing order maybe u can help

The firing order is 1342 use the top position on your distributor and go counter clockwise, on your engine the front plug is no 1 then 2 ,3 and 4 is the rear plug.

So based on your information if I look at the distritos as a clock top is 12 o’clock wire goes to cylinder 1 going counter clockwise 9 o clock plugs into cylinder 3 six o’clock or bottom plugs into cylinder 4 and then three o clock plugs into cylinder 2

They are ok for now but they dont look like they will last long I have a lot of black staining around it, we know what that means its on its way out LOL!
