The Web Trap Catcher is the Electro Proof Suit taken from ASM # 425 and makes appearances in Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man on PS4. I've always loved this figure and have all of the accessories.

I had one from one of these that was Spider-Man dressed in Peter’s clothes but they were all torn up. He was wearing a bugle jacket and even had a sneaker on one foot. I looked him up not long ago but I forgot the name

Problem with them figures was lack of articulation, the gimmicks were but articulation would've made the figures more fun to play with back then

They were of the most articulated figures on shelves for that time period. Compared to what we have in 2021, yes now it’s old articulation.

I had all of those except Madame Webb. I have no idea why I did not get her. It may have been an unconscious objection to the multiple dimensions story. I do miss the gimmicks because they are toys.

Just checked. Its definitely based on Spiderman final adventure when he jumps out of a window to go fight River Verys. It's in issue 1. I had the toy.

The electro insulated spidey was in the comics before this toy, he teamed up with X-man, pretty good issue. I have a minimate of that costume too and I think it may well have been in spider-man 2 enter electro for the PSX too.

I might have missed it in the video but the Spider-Man with the weird costume is from the comics called the insulated suit. It was designed to fight off Electro so Spidey doesn't get electrocuted. There's a variant of it in the Spider-Man 2000 wave where it's the same colour scheme, but has the insulated mask instead Also, not sure what else is there left apart from what you already reviewed, but is like to see you review the Monsters box set. The one that had Man-Spider, Jameson and punisher in it

Yeah! Thank you. It’s cool to see how old comics costumes translated to the toys but because of the gimmicky subject matter it was largely seen as wackadoo designs. Monster Mayhem set is coming up very shortly!😉 Thanks for watching

Congratulations on a another awesome video. Pretty sure the spiderman sculpt in this wave is based on Spiderman the final adventure. Theres an image where jumps out of a window and the figure reminds me of it. Great storyline during the clone saga.
