Maybe the staff weapon wasn't molded for this figure but made for an eventual Archie Shredder (who does use that weapon). But since they had to spare they gave it to this one too.

I hope the Secret of the Ooze Shredder figure will also be made in the 1/4 scale size too. It's too bad that Shredder's even more scarred face was never shown of the second film. I guess the reason why that was is because the character would've been unrecognizable to people who had seen the first film as well as the actor. Still, I wish Shredder's face had been shown of the second film too. I would've been satisfied with the sword and spear left out and given the figure just the accessories of the mutated dandelion, the mutagen canister and the mutagen vial. And I would've preferred using elastic string for the cape to attach it to the bladed shoulder pads instead of a wire.

Shredder doesn't fight in the 2nd movie. Super Shredder killed himself. The Turtles doesn't fight with their weapons. Not really a fan of the film but I like the design of the figure and Neca's effort to be close with the film

I just found it at my local Walmart in a mess of random neca figures . Wasted $30 but it looks pretty cool especially with my 1990 shredder and splinter .

The only design flaw I can see is the Saw Blade on top of the Helmet should be slanted down more almost covering his eyes.I wasn't too keen of this movie when It came out as id already seen the 89 Batman and the First TMNT movie and they were dark and edgy. This was just too cheesy for my 9 year old tastes.

I hate my country -_- America has soooo many shops that sell Neca figures, and they're always released there. The best England has is a shop called "Forbidden Planet" ...and i only know 2 of them which are both equally MILES away, they're really rare. We don't have Walmart, or Target, or any of those shops :(
